Not Satisfied. There is definitely an engineering flaw with this headset. When it worked it was my favorite headset I've ever owned. The problem is the microphone boom and the swivel of it up and down. After minimal use of rotating the mic boom up and down it will cause failure on the microphone. There are several threads on reddit and some youtube videos on this warning of this problem. Unfortunately I was an early adopter of this headset, and I am just out of warranty. Which leads me to my next point, why does a $300 plus headset only have a 1 year warranty? Quality and long term use is not in your favor as a consumer with Turtle Beach. When you spend this amount of money on a product it should last several years.

Ive had my headset for two months. At first i loved it. Ive always had the stealth 700, and i was excited when i found out there was finally an upgrade, but two weeks into owning this and my mic has become staticy on both mine and my party’s audio. Tried contacting service and they just tell me to update it or not to use the detachable microphone.

Bad, firmware updates are a nightmare

I purchased these & immediately had issues. I updated the firmware as instructed & couldnt pair the transmitter & headset. I did all of the troubleshooting on the trutle beach website; with no success. Ultimately returning them.

Great headset when its not having any pairing issues. Its my first wireless headset and so far the experience has been quite a let down, the turtles beach app seems to reset itself deleting any adjustments made, and on the last update it requiered the use of a PC or Mac if not the headset would not pair. For a $300+ headset from a brand such as turtle beach this whole pairing and app issues have been extremely frustrating.

Mic is way to sensitive. I have the app and it still catches my breathing even when thebboom mic is pushed way out the old model was better.

Product is great looking and feels expensive but it under performed and would get distortion often. My buddies would often said i sounded distored and would have to reset the controller and mess with the app that you need with it to get it work. Ended up returning it within the first week.

Overpriced with terrible build quality

Like most turtle beach headsets, these are not built to last. They are overpriced and have serious build quality concerns. The fact that you must remove the microphone to replace the batteries causes the mic to eventually fail or short circuit. The replaceable batteries no longer charge in the dock or hold a reasonable charge. I should have learned my lesson with the numerous warranty exchanges on previous turtle beach products such as the stealth 700s. It is pointless to buy these without a warranty because you will be replacing them. Good luck and hopefully you find something else with better build quality.

Missing Mic, poor customer service!

I purchased this headset as an open box in “excellent condition.” After shipping delays, the headset arrived without the boom mic. I went into my local best buy to see if I could get a refund. The price had increased $32 and Best Buy would not honor the original price I purchased it for even though they were the ones at fault for sending me an incomplete package. The man I spoke with at the store wanted to charge me more for the same mic in “good” condition instead of “excellent.” I reached out to best buy via chat messenger as well and they also would not honor my original purchase price.

An over priced piece of garbage

Marketing is the only tool that turtle beach wield in order to sell this product. While this headset is feature rich out of the box that is where anything innovative stops. I bought this to use with my xbox and the sound was not balanced, it only came out clear in the right ear and very low in the left. There is no way to fix this through software because turtle beach does not make an app for xbox or allow xbox software to manipulate the sound or microphone. Im sorry turtle beach i expact more out of you especially when i am paying 350 dollars for a headset that is not beats or Bose, please do better next time.

Just not what i was expecting. The set i tried for 2 weeks had a beep/buzzing in the background no matter what i did to try and get rid of it. They had the latest firmware update and as far as i could tell it wasnt going away. Went to the Arctis Nova Pro and couldnt be happier.

Headphones hurt ears and feel uncomfortable on head the price is way to high but the extra battery with dock that you can plug USB into is cool

Owned this headset for 3 months from the very first week I bought it I had to constantly restart for it could pair again. Fast forward to now and now I can’t speak through the mic/headset. Transmitter keeps changing colors from green to red and I can’t speak to anyone. I can hear everyone and I hear sound but can’t speak through it. They make the warranty so expensive I couldn’t buy it on top of paying over $300 for the headset it’s self.

This headset is impossible to connect to my LG Oled TV. I have had no issues connecting my Barracuda Pro and Arctis Nova Pro Wireless but for some reason these will not connect, even after the TV reads and pairs the headset. For over $300, this is inexcusable imo.
