Absolute best Bluetooth speaker you can find. Solid slamming bass with zero distortion at max volume. I went down a deep dive rabbit hole to find something that would actually satisfy me in the long run. Multiple Bluetooth speakers were purchased and returned very quickly in my journey. A gentleman on the phone with Best Buy told me that he was certain that what I was really looking for was an Ultimate Ears Hyperboom. He wasn’t wrong. I’ll never look back. This thing absolutely pounds. I used Alien Tape to secure four Milwaukee Packout feet to the bottom of the speaker so that I can lock it in on top of a Packout box in the back seat of my Subaru WRX so that it stands nice and pretty and secure and doesn’t get thrown around in the car while I drive the whip the way it was designed to be driven. I have received multiple compliments when getting out of my car at establishments from strangers, telling me that the sound system in my vehicle sounds really good. I always chuckle when I get to tell them that it’s just a Bluetooth speaker in the back. There is no ”just” about this speaker. Even simply picking this thing up by its collapsible handle is confidence inspiring that what you’re about to hear is going to be substantial. The Joker has quite a bit of weight to her and rightfully so with the size and number of drivers they fit into this box. On the top of the speaker is a microphone that the unit uses to listen to itself and adjust its own output based on the space that it is sitting in to ensure the best possible sound in any type of setting or environment. Wide open field, she sounds amazing. Corner of the bathroom when you take your shower, total immersion. Out on the boat, give her a splash and a couple of wet high-fives for being so dang gangster. I’ve had this thing sitting in the pouring rain for over an hour straight. Zero issues. Truly waterproof. Way to go, Ultimate Ears. You guys make some killer stuff. This is my first of your products, and I cannot tell you how happy I am with this HYPERBOOM. 10 out of 10.

Best sounding speakers and I've tried several different brands

A very last minute purchase due to my company needing a quick speaker system for an event. This event was in a windy, open parking lot in front of a faculty and it carried our music and speakers voices amazingly well. The sound quality is also very balanced. There was about 65 people in attendance and everyone was able to hear just fine. Would buy again.

One of my favorite speakers around. I always have 2 of these in case of a small party or event. Using 1 at a time is solid as well. Put it in front of a wall for more bass. The only thing thay compares is the JBL Boombox 3.

Love the Hyperboom. The sound is clear with a huge bass sound. Easy connect to wifi and runs for a long time without plugging in. Ability to pair with multiple devices a real plus. I plan to order another one. It has a little weight to it, but I’m use to it with the easy to grip handle on the side.

This hyperboom speaker is loud and good bass sound. Gets very loud and clear with balance mids and high. i take this to my job site and plays all day still has plenty battery life play at 70% volume. I use the app to adjust different eq sound settings and you can customize your eq setting to your preference. I think that for the size of this speaker it had a better sound then the JBL boombox. I ended up purchasing a 2nd one to use the partyup mode and all i can say is WOW. The sound is much more richer and can be in sync or in stereo which i prefer and it just blows my mind with what im hearing. All my family and friend couldnt beleve that this speaker sound like DJ or full home stereo.

4.9 stars. Uses high quality, low wattage amp with high quality, high sensitivity speakers to produce impossibly good sound for its size. Has 2 Bluetooth channels, aux input and optical input. Lacks microphone.

Great that the New hyperboom model is now powered by USB C! Great sound especially the Bass response and the battery life is exceptional and the recharge continues to be fast.

I was a Jbl fan now I’m an ultimate ears fan! The sound is so much clearer and clearer than the Jbl boombox 3. Now the Jbl boombox has a bit deeper sound in bass but the mids and high are unbearable to me. If you want a speaker the has more of a hifi sound UE is the way to go! Only downside to the UE I see is battery life is a bit sort but other then that I really happy!

I will not stop listening to music on this beautiful speaker. Its sleek design and surprisingly loud sound makes it enjoyable. My roommates are probably not as thrilled as I am, I am constantly using it! Great for parties and the megaphone is a plus. Love the app too it’s simple to use. The charge is beyond fast and long lasting which I find it rare on many devices. (USB-C)

I already own several other Ultimate Ears speakers so adding another was a no brainer, but I wanted something that would give me much bigger sound around the pool. While not as large as some of the Sony or JBL speakers with their 10" and 12" subs, this Hyperboom packs a huge sound and even at full volume does not distort at all. In addition, the battery lasts a really long time so I don't have to worry about charging it every day while relaxing outside. Easy to use, great battery life and really good sound for such a small speaker, I definitely recommend this speaker for someone looking for something portable.

I absolutely love this speaker, very good sound quality and have used for multiple occasions and family gatherings indoor and outdoor. Sadly, I returned the second one purchased because the range when connecting two speakers together sucks. They have to be in very very close proximity in order for the sound quality to sound amazing. If you move it a couple of feet away it gets very grainy.

This portable speaker is literally the best of the best. Sony, JBL, and all the other manufacturers out there can’t touch the HyperBoom. The first time I played music through it, I got goosebumps. Just blown away. I heard about the brand, Ultimate Ears, so I went all in and bought one. I like this speaker so much that I just bought my 2nd unit.

Excellent sound at a fair price. I had another one which I gave to a relative. Used it constantly for 2 years without any problems. Battery life seems as good as when new! Highly recommended!
