Purchased this remote on the advice of the salesman. Was to make it easy to control multiple devices with one remote. However, this remote functions respond slowly or at times not at all. Sometimes it skips through channels or pages of the guide with a single touch. Has to be programmed by a tech through a computer at a cost. After purchase, found out that my new receiver remote can do all the things this remote is suppose to do which I can program myself.

system does not function each time selections are made. you have to press your selection multiple times on occassion very annoying i upgraded from an osiris system and expected much more for the price i paid. disappointed!

I think for the price, it should be more user friendly with shortcuts to frequently watched stations to be easily programmed..i would not recommend it or but another

This does not work well with Verizon Fios. I upgraded to this new version of the remote I had, it was very expensive, required installation and still works sporadically. Defying all reason it seems to work better during the day than at night.

Difficult to operate remote control after receiver us in power saving mode. Responds very slowly to "commands" especially when compared to the remote that comes with Direct TV. Not Happy.

It has a lot of glitches.. it will change channel very rapid, it will change channel on it's own. I don't like it not worth the money.. Keep a separate remote for all your devices

I was excited to get this new one. But, when my boxes needed updates the remote stopped working. I returned it yesterday. Sad it didn't work as I had hoped.

this remote is not backlit so it is virtually impossible to use in a dark room; I don't recommend it

2 weeks of working fine, the remote went completely dead. I took the batteries out and put them back in, replaced them with new batteries, and it's completely black. I called the Best Buy supervisor, who's contacting the Geek Squad "expert," to get him to call me, which has been a major problem, but that's another story. I have to take it into Best Buy, swap it out for a brand new one, and get back home for the Geek squad guy to reprogram the new one...IF he calls me. I hope this isn't going to be a fight. I just want my equipment to work is all. Not complicated! If I get a new one AND it works, I'll recommend this to a friend...IF!

No backlighting hard to use in low lighting. Not that intuitive
