Until Dawn has a very engaging presentation and a genuinely interesting, if generic, story. I don't think the replayability is very high, especially if you make a mistake late in the game, as there is no way to skip and you are left to play the 8-12 hour game all over again. The experience will change, but not drastically. I played it with a group of friends but if you enjoy watching horror alone that's also a valid option. Overall, Until Dawn is a fun game with a few problems. If you're interested in the concept, pick it up.

Really high production values in this game. Great acting, atmospheric audio and excellent graphics help to immerse you in the danger, drama and suspense. Showed it to friends at a party and everybody wanted to watch it played through to see what happens (and the outcome can change based on your decisions, so there's replay value). Be warned though: You may get so caught up in it that you won't realize that hours have passed!

This is a very good game. it may only be 7-8 hours but it is a very fun and intense time. The characters act and argue exactly in a lot of horror movies that I have seen.They are annoying like those characters for wanting to check out what that noise was.One mistake can mean death for a character and may mess up what you are going for, but that is the fun in playing through again. it would be nice to skip some cut scenes, but most are not too long. If you own a ps4 and love horror movies you should not pass this game up.

I was slightly interested in this game, so i figured i'd give a shot seeing it was on sale for $20. To my surprise this game was much better than expected. I've played through it 3x so far. Every decision you make changes the outcome of the story. The graphics are very nice, the story line is great, and the game really draws you in. If you are horror movie buff, or you just enjoy good jump scares, you'll love this game.

Don't play this alone in the dark. My wife hates horror (movies and video games) but I kept catching her watching with one eye open because the story was so involving. I love games that allow you to change the story based on decisions you make, and this one did not disappoint. Graphics were OK, sometimes the controls were a little choppy or didn't respond the way I had wanted/anticipated, but overall a great game still.

While this game starts slow, and has terrible controls the story and atmosphere make up for those shortcomings. If you want a horror game that keeps you guessing till the end, this is it

Got this game on sale and beat it that same day. I could not put it down once I started playing. If you like any of the telltale games or life is strange then you will like this game also. Story line and characters are well done. Characters choices are interesting and have an impact on who lives or dies, enough to play the game a couple of times to see what happens when different choices are made.

Wasn't expecting much from this game it was changed from a ps3 game using the move motion controls to the ps4 and there has been no hype for this game. Let me say the game is awesome graphics really good atmosphere is nailed set up to be like a 80's or 90's slasher flick. Haven't finished it yet so maybe won't stay a 5 star game but so far it's awesome. Will be great to play with a group of people around Halloween.

This is one of those games that is more of a choose-your-adventure story than actual game. We picked this up AFTER playing the follow-up VR Rush Of Blood game which was a very different type of game. In terms of story and horror, it was fun. We played it through twice with different choices and endings.

until dawn is really fun. i didn't get scarred at all playing this game, but I was still hooked and invested in the story due to the immersive story and excellent graphics. all paths lead to basically the same ending with the only difference being who lives and who dies. definitely less paths than Detroit but still a really fun game to play.

Lots of games which promise an interactive story based on decisions are fairly obvious and focus more on that aspect than the actual story, but Until Dawn does well with both. I enjoyed the decisions that I had to make, trying to see how it might influence the rest of the game, and I also enjoyed the story, which had a medium-budget horror film quality about it. It was worth a play through, and I might go through it again in the future to change some things and see how differently the story goes.

I purchased this game with a general knowledge of what it was, I was in the middle of a Fallout 4 binge session, and needed a break because I couldn't kill a boss, so I checked this out. It's a great game if you really like story. The actual action isn't the best in my opinion and I easily got bored, but the sessions with the psychiatrist are kind of creepy which is cool. I would recommend this to someone just starting out that isn't looking for too much going on control wise.

Until Dawn is finally the horror game I've been waiting for in that it focuses on a slasher style gaming experience. The story line is well written and the game flows perfectly from beginning to end with decisions that you make directly influencing the games path immediately or sometimes later on in the game, so a good mix. If you like gaming and the horror genre, I highly recommend playing this one!

Until Dawn is an interactive movie with playable parts just like Heavy Rain or Beyond:Two Souls. You make the decisions on what characters live or die. So far I am really enjoying the game, I was hesitant after reading some poor reviews online before the game released, but I am pleasantly surprised by the game play and story.

I thought this game might not be as good due to it being issued first for the PS3 and low review scores that games that were too cinematic were getting. However, after playing this, I can definitely say that the game is very much enjoyable and interactive with the right amount of elements. It's pretty intriguing and a memorable experience. I like the inclusion of the motion control on the PS4.

Gameplay is similar to Heavy Rain. More of a movie style experience with a lot of walking and character exploration. However, don't let that discourage you. One of the best gaming experiences i've played in the last few years. Amazing graphics and story. If you own a PS4, you need this in your collection.

This game has some very good graphics and characters made to look exactly like the actors who portray them. Great voice acting. Very linear though. Plenty of choices to make that could save or kill one of many playable characters. Let them all live? Kill 'em all? Save some and kill the rest? It's all up to you and the decisions you make. Slow moving at some points. I didn't like having to start over just to get a different ending even though it lets you replay chapters.

This game is very immersive and puts you right in the middle of a typical horror teen movie. You control all 8 characters at different points in the game. You make choices at key points in the game as to what path or decision a character may make or say to another character. All of these decisions have consequences. There is also a bit of exploration involved and the settings are excellent.

This is the perfect game to play with the lights down and sound up to give yourself a racing heart! If you love thriller horror flicks then this will be perfect for you... its intense enough to keep you on the edge of your seat but it begs you to keep going to unravel the story. VERY entertaining, definitely worth multiple play-throughs since there are a multitude of possible outcomes!

Until Dawn first half of the game was fantastic and believable in a campy horror sense. The second half of the game changed direction and felt disjointed but I still enjoyed playing as the characters. I could not wait to see who lived or died depending on my choices. I must say I played the game several times just to see the different outcomes. I highly recommend playing this game.
