For the price this rear view mirror dash cam was a good deal.

Worked great for about 8 months. Now the unit turns off on itself, and is not functioning properly. Decided to to stop working in the middle of a road trip. Look into the item, others are having similar issues.

This item was working great for 10 months and then just start it not working. It kept saying battery is low but it is plugged in directly to the power source of the vehicle. Now it won’t come on at all.

Highly recommended. I got tired of cheap ones off of Amazon and decided to put in a little more for one off of BestBuy. I am quite pleased with the quality of this dash camera. The higher video quality is great. No more blurry license plates. Higher quality at night. Higher quality videos in weather. Love the voice control. You don't always have time to figure out how to save the file just say save file. Card is easy to eject in seconds if need be. Gps tracking isn't required but helpful. If you don't know where you are when accident occurs then one should not be driving. Covers 100% of the lanes front and back. The tape strip fails to hold on the back but no problem the screws or duct tape do the job. I love the piece of mind. I know the electronics I buy off of Best Buy are good quality and will last a long time.

Unfortunately it hasn’t quite worked right in the vehicle I wanted to install it in. But after uninstalling and reinstalling in another car I verified that the actual unit was fine. But some sort of interference is preventing it from working in the intended vehicle. The biggest nuisance that I found with the unit is that the recorded clips are very short. So that means that I’m the event that you want to save a clip from being overwritten you would need to lock it from the cam itself or sift through them on a computer. But I guess that is true for most of them short of Tesla cam. Oh also the unit is very heavy! If your OEM mirror is flimsy like mine was it will bounce uncontrollably. It eventually caused my oem mirror to fall off though it’s probably unique to my car which was held on by a plastic screw. Besides that it’s good, install is a pain especially if you have to do it as many times as I did lol.

Very easy/straight forward installation. I bought one for my wife and I just bought a second for myself! Honestly don’t know why it’s marked down but it’s easily the best dash-cam I’ve tried. People complain how it’s unusable at night however, this is easily fixed by turning off the screen and using it as a normal/traditional mirror. I love that it uses voice recognition and easily understands the commands. I can’t speak for longevity but for the sale price, I’ll just buy another if it breaks since it’s already wired up on our cars!

Very nice unit, clear and beautiful picture, east to install . The only problem I am having is that during day time and heated inside the car my rearview mirror is unable to hold the weight of this unit and I am unable to adjust with safety in question. I ended up using some tape to hold the mirror in place. Maybe is my car but, I am sure not to be the only one experienced this.

Vantop does not stand behind their products. Previous one I purchased on Amazon crapped out after about 1 1/2 years. Only bought another of the same model because I already have the wires and electrical hook up from the first one and do not have to rewire or pay for rewiring again. It cost another $30 for a microchip to operate.

Quality is low, screen black out sometimes as well as good bye message, frozen and photos r taken itself……..etc…..!! Bottom line, it is not worth as its value, not recommend using if donot care about these above issues!!

It’s actually a great dash cam. Works as well as its advertised and easy to setup. I think for the price, they should include the SD card. And speaking of the SD card, it’s kinda difficult to put it in or take it out. My DC power cable must have been a bad one since it stopped working within 2 weeks. However I emailed the company, not Best Buy, and after a couple of emails, they sent me another one with no issues. I was impressed with that service. If I could, I would have bought the 4k version so that the rear camera would be better quality than the 1080p version. And I don’t think the rear camera has any night vision, at least compared to my factory reverse camera. Believe it or not but installation can be done DIY and that was definitely a positive thing.

Good camera with recorded history. Hiding the wires is a DIY otherwise you have to pay for someone to do it. Got it on DOTD

It's very good, but after a while it stops working properly.

It is a high quality device, it will be very useful for use in my vehicle when working or entertaining.

Excellent camera easy-to-use & great video quality.

I like it how it record front and back, easy to install and operate, to bad the voice command feature kind of lack to recognize the command, sometime I have to scream for it. Over all it’s product for the money.

The only difficult aspect of this product is the jnitial setup. Once you setup the device its operation is simple and the controls are easy to understand. The touch-screen is quite responsive and the voice control is accurate as well.

Stopped working right at a year, which is super convenient since the warranty only covers a year. Cant get the stupid thing to turn on!
