Needed an inexpensive phone packed with the features I use the most and this phone delivers

This phone has not disappointed me once! I have been using it everyday and it came with all my essentials. It came with screen protector applied to the phone and that also saved me on me on extra expenses. The phone also has the same dimensions as iPhone 7plus, which means extra screen size and display. Except for being boot-locked, and not being able to get new OS changes, I have had zero complaints to put in this review! As a smartphone, it is speedy and does not disappoint. This purchase was a no brainer for me at $100.

Good size screen for easy viewing and reading. Fast when flipping between apps and good amount of memory. Fast charging.

I've had the phone for over two weeks, no issues thus far. At times I need to tap on an icon or app multiple times before the phone reacts. Good phone for the price, especially when on sale. Both cameras take great clear photos. The sound is loud and clear. No problem making calls or hearing the party at other end.

This is a great Samsung phone for the beginner/intermediate cell phone user. I love the camera and watch TV and movies on it all the time. There is a Word-compatible document creator installed called Hanscom Office, which works well. I recommend a 32 Gig micro-SD card to expand storage. It has 16 Gig already, but some game programs are memory-heavy and are better put in external storage. Any system files cannot be moved from the internal storage, big programs like Facebook, Messenger, and casino games are better stored on a micro-SD card. I found that I am having problems with my J7 recognizing my headphones. An Internet search provided solutions. I never had this problem on my other J7, but it is the result of an upgrade, according to what I read. I use Chrome for my browser and have never had a single problem. Don't hesitate to buy this phone. For a minimum investment compared to the Samsung S7, S8, or S9, you can have nearly as much as they have, without underutilizing your phone's capabilities!

Great phone for Verizon's pre paid wireless plan. It is exactly what I expected, except for the screen size. Trading up from a Moto E2, this screen is huge. Phone is fast enough and runs many apps at once.

This Samsung Galaxy phone is larger in size which I love, 16 gig so has tons of memory and never feels hot which is a plus!!! You will love this phone and is a great price at Best Buy!!

I wish it came in 32 gig that's the reason I gave it 4 stars. Love the size. It takes nice pictures. It's hard to find cases for it so make sure you order it when you get your phone and the screen protector.

The Galaxy J7 is a great phone for the money, likely the best even at this price level. The phone is easy to use and navigate, however my girlfriend seems to have general technical issues and complains about it even though being her own fault. I am seriously considering "upgrading" to this phone from my Samsung Galaxy S7 as there is simply no way I can justify spending $1,000 on a cell phone today. Between carriers charging $30/mo and requiring $25/mo data plans, "renting" a phone (or any product) is one of the worst financial decisions one can make. I need to make phone calls and hit a few apps, this Galaxy J7 (or the Pro version) accomplishes all of that at a reasonable price.

This is a great phone for people who want all of the features but don't want to spend the money, it is an excellent prepaid phone.

I was looking for an inexpensive phone that was larger than my previous one and this one fits the bill. it also has great features and a good camera.

This phone was perfect to upgrade to. My previous phone was the Samsung S4 and that was a piece of garbage. This phone holds its own. The battery last long and does not overheat. It takes great pictures and has good storage.

It's a pretty good phone for such a cheap price. I highly recommend to anyone with a tight budget and is okay with a high grade knock off of a popular phone.

I only gave it 4 stars because I had to exchange it once as it wasn't charging. I even tried a different charger and it still wasn't working. After exchanging it for a new one, I haven't had any problems. Seems to be just as good as more expensive Galaxy phones I've used in the past. The camera takes slightly lower quality pictures but they are still pretty good.

i bought this model as it offered wifi calling as i dont have cell service where i live. I really like the large 5.5 inch screen, and ease of use the camera is fine, not great and the battery life seems very good. however replacement battery is expensive in my opinion. overall for the price i think this is a very good phone.

Great phone and even better price for this black Friday sale. Only issue i have is with Best Buys directly. Bought online so i would not have to fight the sale crowds. got the phone and not only could Verizon activate it but online could not either. Had to go in only to have the agent refund me on that phone and give me another one since the activation code had never been scanned. Buying online was done to keep from going into a store hrs away from my home instead i still have to go as well as wait almost 2+ hrs in getting it activated due to the inability to activate the phone

good battery life, decent camera, quite fast, no lags. Good phone to have
