Fan arrived damaged or defective

This fan should be great, but the blades were hitting the front grill upon first use. Also, the fan makes some weird noises; but this may also be from defective item or bad shipping. It is powerful, and low is quite strong. Going to reorder, but only if seller gives a refund. The seller says item must not be damaged to get a return, and we have no way of writing a note about what’s wrong, just select from drop down. Unsure if this is Best Buy or Vevor.
