This was well worth having!! I would highly recommend getting one of these. This made things slick to install a new drive on my laptop. When the new drive was installed, the computer instantly booted up and worked fantastic. Not sure if a couple things I found that did not work correctly was from the copy or if it was a problem that was on my old hard drive. I just had to reinstall the programs. So I had to send a little time to repair for those couple of small issues.

This software and connector worked very well to clone a new SSD for my old laptop. Now it works great with fast boot-up and saved me from having to get a whole new computer.

Honestly, I bought this strictly for the SATA to USB adapter; I never used the software, so I have no comment. The SATA to USB adapter, however, works perfectly, no complaints. The supplied 2.5" to 3.5" adapter is not that great, though. So... I really bought this strictly for the SATA to USB adapter and I'm still happy with the purchase! :)

Cable worked great, software is not the best, but other versions (free) available online. didnt need to use the mounting bracket because the drive fit perfectly in the bay of HP laptop !

I purchased a Samsung EVO SSD and this kit to transfer the data, unfortunately I could not get the software to work with my computer. I bought another USB to SATA cable from another vendor and got my files transferred over in about 30 minutes. Might be some compatibility issue with Windows 10 or maybe the cable was flawed because I tried on my wife's Windows 10 laptop and could not get it to work either.

Purchased to transfer my information from a hard drive on a laptop to a newly purchased SSD drive. VisionTek kit worked flawlessly and the included software made it really simple. Highly recommended.

It works after installation start the program, and ready to go. I would have given it 5 starts, but the connection cable is really, really short. When it works, it works quite well... I set up 2 drives at the beginning this had issues with it being recognized correctly. I don't know why.

Just plug the new SSD into a USB port and boot to the CD. Does a pretty good quick clone. Doesn't have all the features of a professional cloning package but does an adequate job for a basic setup.

The cable worked well but the software didn’t work for Mac Book. I was able to find trial software online to get job done.

I didn't use the software because I purchased this product only for the cable, which works great.

First and far most, it worked. IT was a little tricky. The old hard drive was failing so that may have made it a little harder. It would not work from windows so I ran it from the disk before windows started. It works great.

This item was inexpensive and just what I needed to install my new SSD drive in my Laptop.

Cable is reliable and useful., The software disc was useless and failed to clone drive....twice. I downloaded free cloning software off of internet and used this cable. Worked first time then.
