Customers are pleased with the Professional Series 750's ease of use and powerful blending capabilities, resulting in high-quality smoothies. Many appreciate its self-cleaning function and the included recipe book. A minor drawback mentioned by some users is the noise level at high speeds.

BEST BLENDER OUT THERE!

Aww man, if you are looking for a beast to replace your “other” blender, GET THIS!
This for us was a replacement for our much older Vitamix, and its even better, which I thought would be difficult because even our old Vitamix is already and is still a beast in our kitchen. How could it get any better, right?! Well this one is much more powerful, and it displays the different options so its easier to identify what your making. That was one of the issues we had with our old one. Without pulling out the manual (who knows where that’s at at this point) we never knew what number to turn it to, to make ice creams or soups, so we never really tried. We primarily used it for smoothies and processing certain foods. But this is a total game changer for us. It doesn’t have a digital screen, but with the addition of these diagrams, we are now able to make those items with ease.
We made ice creams, using whole avocados, I mean WHOLE avocados including the seeds (no skin), and this thing tore through the seeds like it was never there. How crazy is that?!
It’s still loud but there is a slightly noticeable difference between our old one and this improved version. Its also a solid piece of machinery like its predecessors.
I love the shape of the low profile 64oz. container, it works so much better under our upper kitchen cabinets, as the older container was much taller and would be difficult to just slide under the upper cabinets. I do wish that they would add the tamper holder as a standard accessory. I've seen it used on the newer digital models, and it would be a welcome accessory. With the app, its even easier to look up tons of recipes to work alongside your new powerhouse of a blender. Although, it does come with an amazing recipe book.
As I stated earlier, if you’re looking to upgrade your blender or purchase one for the first time, get this. It is an investment, but honestly, you will be buying a new blender every year vs. buying this once and having it for years to come, even passing it down to your kids going off to college. Also, the warranty is very generous at 7 years, so go ahead and make the purchase.

When you purchase the best, you expect the best. This Vitamix is not only a leading brand in its segment, its a professional series. You can expect this unit to handle the big jobs with ease. I like the way the controls seem easy and intuitive with just a dial and 2 dip switches, one for pulse, the other for starting the program. It's a lot quieter than blenders that use dull blades in part because it doesn't need to spin as fast, but more so, for its large quiet base that transmits less vibration to the counter.
I noticed better results than my previous blender when making almond milk; it grinds and blends perfectly. Even after a day in the fridge, the milk doesn't separate. Soups, pesto, sauces, even smoothies come out as expected. The only downside is when you make small quantities in the large jar. The blades are not straddling the base so an aioli or pesto where 2 cups would be too much, ends up below the blades and a bit of a hassle to remove effectively.
Granted, this is a Pro series and meant for larger quantities so you would purchase with that in mind. That said, a smaller jar is available for about $100 to help you get the most versatility out of the 750 Pro.
With the Vitamix 750 Pro, you're getting the best, with decades of history and innovation to back it up. It's a sound purchase.

The Blender I've Been Looking For

I've owned a few different brands of blenders over the years and have never had a problem with any of them, but they all pale in comparison next to this one. This is my first Vitamix and now I've been spoiled for life. Right out the box, I could see that this blender was very sturdy. It has a nice weight to it and the build quality is impressive. Very easy to use. Plug it in and press the power switch on the side and it's ready to go. Made daiquiris over the weekend. First time I've made homemade daiquiris that didn't have those pesky pieces of ice that did get fully processed. We also made some broccoli cheddar soup that may have replaced Panera Bread's for us. All of the ingredients were blended excellently. Noise level during use is also less than other brands that I've used in the past. Clean up with this thing is a breeze. I've noticed with other models, where the blades are lower, there is a tendency for ingredients to get caked under the blades, making cleaning more difficult. That's not the case with this one. Looking forward to seeing what else we can make with this thing.

A truly professional blender

I've never owned a high-end (high $) blender before so I was excited to try the famous Vitamix product line. I own a K________d blender and it works fine for most everyday simple blending tasks but it is difficult to clean, especially along the sides of the blending jar, and lacks the power to quickly blend frozen drinks or crush harder items.
I tried several different recipes on the Vitamix. First, I made a standard strawberry-banana shake. It was the perfect consistency in less than 30 seconds. Next, I tried making applesauce from whole apples. Obviously, this product lacks the features of a juicer which separates the fiber away from the juice, but that is not necessary for my applesauce recipe. The process again required less than a minute and the result was tasty enough for small kids. Next I stepped up the difficulty to making frozen drinks using ice. Using the second setting intended for this purpose, the blender started low and then raced until it reduced the ice to liquid in very little time, too liquid for a decent frozen beverage.
Summary:
Pros:
1. Powerful
2. Attractive - this grey color blends in very well with my other appliances
3. Easy to operate - I like the separate switches for Power, Pulse, and I/O for the various modes.
4. Easy to clean - the easiest blender I've ever cleaned, probably due to its wide design, clean lines and sturdy materials,
CONS:
1. The cookbook that is provided weights almost two pounds because it is both the English and French version combined into one book. For the money you pay for this blender, they should have easily separated it by the two languages and allowed you to discard one and reduce the space it takes up on your bookshelf and the weight to handle it.
2. Cord management - the attempt to provide a place for you to wind excess cord is feeble, almost not worth the grooves in the bottom of the blender base. I would recommend the manufacturer skip this attempt in their next model. After all, high end steam iron users are used to not having retractable cords on those R---- irons..
3. Noise - it is very noisy.
4. Space - it is too tall for my pantry shelves, so I must take up additional space to store the container separate from the base.
5. Too powerful for frozen drinks - I will have to play with it until I can get it to not turn all my daquiris into water consistency.
Overall: this is a big step up from my prior blender and I enjoy using it. The 10X cost premium will make most hesitate, but if you use a blender often (at least once a week), you will appreciate the difference and expect that it will be the last blender you will ever buy, perhaps even bequeath it to one of your children in your will.

Solidly Built Blender

Having previously used the cheaper blenders, I finally opted to try a Vitamix blender after hearing they are supposedly the best. My previous blender had gone the way of its predecessors, developing cracks in the pitcher and starting to gradually leak.
This blender had a 64 oz. pitcher but it is designed to be low profile and still fits under our cabinets when sat on top of the motor unit. This is a nice feature and saves us stashing it in a cabinet at knee-level which we had to do with the previous blenders.
The motor unit is well built and apparently the motor itself is a couple of horsepower. This is pretty amazing as some mowers aren't that much more powerful. The motor unit has a rubber cover over the surface that the pitcher sits on which likely helps protect it from any liquid spills. From reading the manual, I think the rubber cover is removable for deep cleaning.
The blades look fairly conventional and are an integral part of the pitcher - they are not removable. Marked with a "W", the blades I have are for working with wet products but you can apparently buy other pitchers and containers that have different functions. I would assume that the ones with a blade marked "D" are for grinding coffee or spices.
The blender also comes with a large recipe book (although half of it is the French version) and a plastic stick for pushing ingredients down nearer the blades while chopping - I have not needed to use that yet but it is specially designed for the pitcher and will stop before it gets to the blades.
So far I have used the blender for lots of smoothies (our main purpose) and making my own curry paste which I do every couple of weeks. The blender has 10 manual speeds as well as several pre-set programs that will cover most things you would want to use it for. The first preset is smoothie and runs for about 45 seconds.
I don't know if I would say this is quieter for making smoothies than my last blender but it certainly has a more pleasant tone. It cuts up about 99% of the ingredients I put in which is certainly more than I am used to - often I would find entire spinach leaves that had not been cut and were just stuck to the side of the pitcher - with this blender, I might find the odd piece of cut spinach but not enough to worry about.
The blend is very good and you certainly won't find any chewy bits after the blades are finished. We tend to follow the standard instructions for adding ingredients (liquid, powders, leafy vegetables, frozen) in that order and have no problems so far.
For the curry paste, I used to cut up the ingredients more than the recipe demanded because I had little confidence in the blender. With the Vitaxmix, there is no such lack of confidence and it handily chops what I throw at it - half onions, ginger pieces, shallots etc. My last blender had about 3 pairs of blades on a column which should have been enough but somehow wasn't. The Vitamix just has a conventional cluster of blades at the bottom but they are so powerful, they still out perform what I had before.
One piece of advice is to follow the manufacturer's instructions and not put any parts in the dishwasher. It's a bit inconvenient but I think the pitcher and blades may last longer. It could explain why all my other pitchers developed cracks but only time will confirm this. The Vitamix does have a cleaning function though where you add a drop of dish soap, half fill it with water, put the lid on and then run through each of the 10 speed settings in about 30-60 seconds. Once that is finished, you can rinse it out and it does tend to clean the inside very well. You still need to take care of the spout which is probably my least favorite feature - it's a bit drip-happy in my opinion but nothing to get too upset about.
All in all, this is a very good blender and although I have only scratched the surface with what it is capable of, it looks and acts tough and should have no problems keeping up with the jobs I use it for. I hope the pitcher lasts longer than the other models I have used up to now and I am confident this blender will last me many good years.

Vitamix was 10 speed blender is Awesome!!! I have already used it to make homemade spaghetti sauce, smoothie, blend beans, margaritas.salsa. When I made green leafy smoothies it blends the greens well no chunky pieces of Spanish. Blends ice to a perfect slushi margarita. I love the color matches my kitchen appliances. I don’t really have any cons, it isn’t super quite but what bender is. It is super easy to clean, it is stylish looking, sleek, love the pearl gray. The quality is good doesn’t feel cheap, I use my blender a lot & on a daily basis

My family has always wanted a Vitamix but I already owned another higher-end blender that we liked. We've seen the Vitamix demonstrated and they are quite impressive. We are a large family and love to cook and create in the kitchen. So when I got a Vitamix Professional Series 750, we were eager to see what it could do.
Out of the box, the Vitamix is quite impressive. The base sits securely on the counter. No worries about it sliding around. The container is a heavy duty plastic and holds a whopping 1/2 gallon (64 oz/2000 mL). The lid is a thick rubber and fits into the container. It is securely held on by two "clips". There is a removable center portion to add additional ingredients and a blender stick to aid in pushing in and breaking up ingredients.
The first thing we tried was blending some juice my husband had made. The banana always seems to separate when the juice stands in the refrigerator. The consistency is not very smooth either. We poured it into the Vitamix Professional Series 750 and started blending. Within a few moments, the juice was very smooth and completely blended.
Next, we wanted to see if you really could heat things in the Vitamix. We made a corn soup using canned corn. Within 7 minutes, the soup was piping hot and the corn had been completely liquified. We poured it through a fine strainer and all that was left was a few small specks of corn.
Clean-up is a breeze. Just add water and a few drops of dish soap to the container. Cover with the lid and set the Vitamix to the special clean cycle. It even cleans the lid well.
I am so pleased with the Vitamix Professional Series 750. I highly recommend it. The things we can make in it seem endless. Peanut butter, almond milk, butter, pasta sauce, soups, whipped cream...

Professional grade blending power that actually takes less time to blend than what a recipe would normally suggest. In fact, blend it for too long (i.e. a smoothie) and you may get undesired effects like a warm, or more watery smoothie.
I came from using a Blendtech Designer 650, which had touch-sensitive buttons. The problem with that is, if your fingers are wet, you won't be able to operate it. With the Vitamix Professional series 750, the controls are all manual, so that will never be an issue.
The blender comes with presets for your most common blending needs: smoothies, ice cream, hot soup, purees, and the cleaning function. What's unfortunate is that it doesn't tell you how much time is remaining from the preset option you chose. This is something that my Blendtec did.
The preset handles all the functions in less time than my Blendtec and with less issues, thanks to the sharper blade and the included tamper, something that the Blendtec doesn't use. The tamper is necessary for thicker concoctions to push the ingredients into the blade, such as making peanut butter or smoothies with a large amount of frozen fruit.
I've also found that the Vitamix produces soup hotter than my Blendtec ever did.
The base of the container has rubber, which helps reduce (but not eliminate) vibration and noise. Make no mistake though, it's still loud. You won't get away with blending something in the middle of the night while someone is asleep in the next room. Starbucks' Vitamix has the more expensive model with the silencing cover over the unit. The base of the Pro 750's unit is also substantially heavy and less prone to moving around from vibration. This was a problem I had with my Blendtec.
The container is made of plastic but feels very strong and sturdy. The container's lid also feels very substantial and doesn't come off easily. I've never had an issues with spillage from blending like I did with my Blendtec.
My hugest complaint with the Vitamix Professional series 750 is how user unfriendly it is, *especially* compared to older versions of this very same model. Contrary to the stock image of the blender you'll see on Best Buy's website, the blender no longer has the written labels "Pulse", "Start", and "Stop" anymore. You'll only see the vague symbols. If what the symbols mean aren't immediately clear to you, you'll need to refer to the manual. Those three symbols are the only markings on the blender that light up with the machine's backlight after you turn it on. Unlike the older versions of this model, the presets and manual setting markers NO LONGER light up. Given how the settings were not easy to read on the machine in the first place because you need to be in front of the machine to easily read it instead of just over the machine, like the Blendtec. The lower your kitchen counter is, the harder it will be to read because it will stray further away from your line of sight. The lit up markings made things a bit easier but they got rid of that in newer models. I called Vitamax customer support, and they confirmed that it was not an error and said as-a-matter-of-factly that this is how they produce their machines now.
Because of how only 3 markings light up, which also happen to be the smallest ones and easy to not notice, I often forget to turn off the blender after I'm done using it. There is no automatic power off like there is with the Blendtec Designer 650.
Continuing the subject of this blender not being very user friendly is the container itself. There are oz/cup and mL (opposite side from oz/cup) measurement markings on it. The problem is they're clear and not colored so they're very hard to read. To me it's near useless because I can struggle less with a measuring cup that does have colored, easily legible markings. I don't get the point of this. My Blendtec container has the measurement markings in black and are VERY easy to read. It's such an understated convenience for simple recipes. You could argue it's so you can see your ingredients better but the Vitamix's container has a bluish-gray tint to it that already makes your ingredients harder to see for what they actually look like. It's just poor design that owners of the previous versions of this model have complained about that still fall on deaf ears.
It's unfortunate. This could have been a 5-star perfect blender. But to take stuff away from what the earlier versions of this same model have and still pay the same $600 feels like a slap in the face.

Best Blender Ever!!

This is definitely the best blender that I have ever owned. The design and build quality are top notch. The blender motor is powerful; it has robust stainless-steel blades and comes with a tamper to aid in the blending process. The cord length is good, and it is compact enough to fit in one of my kitchen cabinets. The performance of the blender is excellent, and it is easy to clean. My family and I have used it mostly to make smoothies, desserts, and frozen drinks. There is a smoothie store in town that my son worked for over the last couple of summers, and he said that they also use Vitamix blenders and I can see why…it makes the smoothest smoothie ever. The Vitamix blender also comes with a thick recipe book, and I am looking forward to making some of the delicious soups, drinks, and dressings in the recipe book. The Vitamix is a wonderful kitchen appliance and is well worth the investment.

This is, bar none, the nicest kitchen appliance I have ever been fortunate enough to own. It's solid as a rock, easy to use and blends anything you throw at it into a smooth, silky mixture. Coming from a personal-size blender which I used (and loved) daily, this beast of a machine is able to blend larger quantities into delicious smoothies. Key for me is that the VItamix has no problem with ice, which the personal-size blender struggled with (this is key for frozen margaritas...). I like that I can make multiple servings at once to share with friends or freeze for later. I especially appreciate the built-in programs of this particular model, which do an excellent job with one twist of the knob. Is this machine overkill? Perhaps, but the extra-long warranty and top-notch performance mean year of quality service and absolutely no trouble with any recipe you can think up.

I was definitely skeptical that a blender would be worth the relatively high price tag that the Vitamix Professional Series 750 carries. After a week, I can safely say that this blender is worth every penny and then some if you're considering making the investment.
My wife and I were using a mid-range blender for smoothies, frozen drinks and general blending tasks and it did a passable job of whipping up these foods. After my first Vitamix smoothie however (I happen to love fresh blackberries in mine), I was amazed. Rather than accepting the fact that smoothies made with blackberries are going to have seeds, I found that the Vitamix completely demolishes everything that goes in - including blackberry seeds. It was the smoothest smoothie I've ever made myself.
As far as construction, there's no comparison. It's a complete tank. No issues, no concerns about flimsy construction, no leaks, no need for suction cup feet or rubber mats to keep the Vitamix from walking. It stays where you put it. Every dial and switch feels incredibly solid and durable. It's easy to believe the whole thing will last for many years.
Moving on to the automatic settings, the Vitamix has programmed settings for smoothies, frozen desserts, soups, purees and self-cleaning in addition to the basic variable speed manual options. Every one of these settings works exactly as advertised. The Vitamix is so powerful that the friction caused by the blades is enough to heat ingredients and make soup! Fill it half full of warm water and a drop of soap and set it to self-clean. It works and removes the main issue I've always had with my morning smoothie: the cleanup. You don't need to handle and clean sharp blades every morning to get a smoothie fix. As a side note, the blades are not actually sharpened. The Vitamix tackles whatever you throw in and you don't even have to risk a nasty cut if you do want to hand-wash the container for some reason.
Another nice touch is the included tamper which fits in through the opening in the top and has a little hilt that does double-duty to keep you from pushing the tamper all the way down into the moving blades and keeps liquids from splashing up while you're tamping.
I also like the included recipe book, which was a pleasant surprise. There are some fantastic recipes inside though we did end up cutting the spine off, removing the duplicate recipes in French and spiral-binding the English portion for convenience sake.
All things considered this blender is admittedly a bit of a luxury item but it feels like it will outlast a half dozen lesser models and do a better job than any one of them along the way. I'd recommend this blender without hesitation.
