For the money I spent, it is absolutely awesome. I can't imagine spending hundreds of dollars more on other systems I've seen advertised. My living room is literally now like a movie theater. I highly recommend this.

Sometimes they dont kick on so you have to power sub off then on and they get sound back. Did firmware update, didn’t help much. THEN JUUUST outside the warranty (2 months!) one rear speaker gets super quiet. Now i have a 4.1.2 atmos, bummer. Vizio was no help, just “sorry”. So, get extended warranty, or buy a better product.

This is a solved problem. The sub and rear speakers will cut out every ten seconds or so, for up to ten seconds, when streaming 4K content via wifi. I assume that any device drawing a wifi connection in the vicinity will cause problems for this sound bar. The problem seems to be solved by using a wired connection, so if this is a workable solution to you this is probably a good buy. It doesn’t seem like anybody makes an affordable sound bar with functional wireless speakers in the mix, so also consider a wisa system, or traditional surround sound systems. Huge bummer, and I’m not sure if I’ll keep the system or return it yet.

After a day of troubleshooting, I was able to update the firmware from a file downloaded from Visio website. Note it works like new again. The firmware update process was more complicated than I would have hoped.
