Subwoofer distortion at high volumes

This bar is a much better value than the new elevate M series. However when pushed to to upper levels the subwoofer does Distort.. Which for me kind of ruins the whole atmos experience. . Maybe for a smaller room but not for me.

Bad Connection from Soundbar to Subwoofer

This is the 2nd system I have received, the 2nd one came right from Vizio, since I was having the same connection issues. The 2nd one has the same connection issues and does not work well. I have to constantly unplug the HDMI cable to the TV to reset. I turn on and off the subwoofer to connect. I reset the TV to try and get it to work and connect. I have read that the speaker and subwoofer will not work if further than 5 feet apart. I even have a Vizio TV and still does not work correctly. Vizio needs to do some work on this soundbar system, very unreliable and not worth the money.

I also spent 45 minutes on the phone with Vizio on another time to get it working. Tonight it shut off again and took 10 minutes to get it going again. Not sure of the quality of the sound bar.

Vizio doesn't seem to have the best reputation for support and with a history of bad firmware releases through my experiences which is a driver for this review. Not satisfied with the weak HDMI-ARC support. After hours and days of product support, they have came up empty I won't be going back to Vizio.

When it worked it worked well

There was a nonstop buzzing sound that would affect my tv. I exchanged for same model and it still is defective. It had been a month since my purchase so Best Buy won’t offer my money back and I am left with a useless soundbar and a wasted 500$
