Vizio does it again!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a huge fan of Vizio products. I can get reliable cutting edge tech for a fraction of the price from Vizio. This 4K TV has such a beautiful picture. The LED local dimming zones give you excellent blacks. The speakers are not the greatest, but I have a Vizio soundbar for that. The apps are very polished, and the interface is great. The remote is very nicely built, and has a full keyboard on the back. The keyboard lights up, but the front controls do not. I would like to have seen them light up as well. There is not much 4K content out there, but the upscaling engine has amazed me. I didn't expect this kind of results! Everything I watch in 1080p looks so much better upscaled to 4K. This TV is 120Hz, the 60" model on up is 240Hz. But, with this many pixels, I never notice any motion blur. I strongly recommend this TV, as it is the best I have owned.

Great introduction to 4K
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great 4K entry level television. The picture is astounding and you really can't beat the price. The remote even has a full keyboard on the reverse side which makes navigating apps, like Netflix and Hulu, a breeze. It also includes the UltraFlix app that is nothing but 4K content. Very happy with this purchase.

Great Value!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is absolutely great. Remote control is also very handy with the keyboard on the back. This 4K TV is a solid choice for the price point. The only thing that I can pick on is that the sound could be louder. I would recommend that someone buys a sound bar or utilize their surround sound receiver to make up for this.

Great tv, one problem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this tv about one month ago. Set up is easy. Adjusting settings is a breeze. Great overall picture for sports, tv shows, and Netflix. Really enjoy the remote it comes with. Has a Nexflix and Amazon button to press for instant access. Only trouble I've had is with the backlight. After about an hour or so (sometimes 10 minutes - 2 hours) parts of the backlighting will start to fade.. usually the left or right side of the tv will be darker than the rest of the picture. Only way to fix this is to turn the tv on and off.. Thus can be super annoying especially if your in the middle of a movie or watching sports.. This is an intermittent issue. After adjusting the backlight settings it will go about a day without the backlight going darker.. it seems to be random when the backlight starts to go out.. Other than that the tv is great would highly recommend. Haven't seen any other reviews with my problem, so please don't let my review steer you away from this tv.

Epic Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV to go in my bedroom, it's my 3rd 4k Television set. I have a Sony XBR 55 and another Vizio 43" 4k from the same series as this 55". After over two years of using my Sony I was spoiled for 4K over 1080 sets. I wanted a TV larger than 50" for my bedroom but did not want to spend the money on a 1080 tv that honestly is dated tech. So, I purchased this TV. I could not be more happy with the set, it took about 30 minutes. To set up connect, register and calibrate the screen to my liking. Fantastic picture quality, active zone LED backlighting so no hot spots, my $3000 SONY has 2 and its Edge lit.... and a really easy to use remote with a full QWERTY backlit keyboard. My one and only complaint about the TV is the lack of multiple 4K 60hz inputs, there is only 1 capable of 60hz the others are relegated to 30hz in 4k. One other note, if you use the panel in 1080 it will do a true 120hz refresh rate not a gimmick rate. So Blu-rays are really nice! For the price you cannot go wrong with this great budget 4K Television.

Excellent Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reviewing TV's to purchase for nearly a month, I had narrowed it down between this TV and the same size/spec Samsung. The reviews for the Vizio were higher than that of the Samsung, and also several hundred dollars cheaper. I am thoroughly pleased with this TV and would recommend it to anyone wanting to purchase a 4k television. The keyboard on the back of the remote is an additional plus that has been very convenient when typing in search boxes etc. for Youtube/Netflix.

VIZIO 4K IS LEGIT (only one issue)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an open box / display model with some apprehension. I had 15 days to return the TV if anything was wrong. I left the TV on nonstop and played multiple video game systems to test every aspect of the TV. I have not been disappointing or have found any major issues. The TV has a energy saver built in, so the screen will turn off after a few hours, which threw me off the first time. After I realized this was normal I continued to test the TV. After a few weeks I noticed one minor issue. There are four shadows that appear in all four corners of the TV, most noticeable on a white screen. This is easily fixed by powering on and off the television and does not come back for days/weeks. It is random and not common and I attribute this issue to the television being a display model in the store or perhaps a heat or cable quality problem. I have had the TV for 2 months and I am highly pleased. I like all features of this TV including the layout of the remote and menu screen. The TV is easy to customize and the APP menu is easy to navigate. I would buy this TV again even at the full retail price. An additional note that may even help with the shadow issue is BUY HIGH QUALITY HDMI cables! I have never been much for "cable quality" due to the high price of the high end cables. Now, I am a believer. I can notice a considerable difference in the way the picture comes in from the cable box when using the 4K capable wiring. There are options that need to be setup in both the TV and CableBox to actually get the full HD quality signal. Also note that you wont get a FULL 4K picture because the providers do not broadcast in 4K yet. However, this TV will upgrade the signal coming in the best it can, so cable quality helps this function. If you buy this TV and play with the options to fit your needs you will LOVE it! And I would not worry about the shadowing issue.

Nice TV but bad viewing angle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The VIZIO M series 55" Smart TV is a really nice TV as long as you can watch it without being at much of an angle. The picture fades out quickly at angles. My friend has a Samsung that has no fade out at any angle and I now wish I had spent a little more for the Samsung. However, if not at much of an angle it has a very nice picture and I found the sound to be very good. I also really like the remote which has buttons for Netflix, Amazon and Iheart radio media. Just press one button and you are connected to Netflix or Amazon. That has made watching media on these resources very easy and I find myself watching more of them. The remote also has a complete keyboard on the underside which is handy entering passwords and other info. I would not recommend this TV if viewing at an angle such as watching from a sectional sofa (L shape) with loungers at each end but would recommend it if that is not an issue.

4K 55" Vizzio TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is a great introductory 4K TV for the price, the picture, the remote and operations are very good. Really my only complaint for this set is the lack of an Internet Browser, all Smart TVs these days should be equipped with this simple app. I do have an Internet browser on my Samsung Blu-Ray so it's not really an issue

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is our first TV and for this price we just love it. Beautiful picture quality and exterior design. Though 4K is not often used due to very few sources, the upscaling of 1080p performs perfectly and gives definitely a better experience than FHD TVs. Full keyboard on the remoter is very helpful.

Great 4K tv.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent black color level and great smart tv options. The built in keyboard on the remote makes the apps easy to use. Only drawback is that the volume on the tv is quiet so it does need to be connected to a home theater.

Great Price for a 55" 4k
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup with well thought out packing. Was surprised to see how well built everything was for the price range (this is my first time trying Vizio). The remote has easy and predictable formatting but the full qwerty backlit keyboard on the bottom was a great touch and genius idea. No more using arrow buttons to spell out searches and passwords.

Good value, with bells and whistles to boot.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very happy with this purchase. Great picture, great onboard apps and connectivity to home network. The QWERTY keyboard integrated with remote is a feature that should be commonplace with similar Internet enabled TVs.
