Great Picture - Just don't have a problem!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My M Series has taken 2 or 3 attempts to turn on for the last few weeks. I called Vizio "customer service" for advice. After some trouble shooting they decided my TV needed repair or replacement. I AGREE! I was given a case number and asked to email a copy of my receipt. I did not have my receipt but said I could re-print it from my BestBuy.com account. This was not acceptable to Vizio, as only an image of an original store receipt will suffice (Let's ask the customer to jump through hoops, and maybe we won't have to pay warranty claims.) I have 5 Vizio TVs, and they were not able to see this in there customer support department. I have registered each of them at the time of installation, and I am not sure why the support division can't see this. Anyway, I like the picture quality of Vizio, but if this is the customer service they find acceptable, I cannot continue to be a fan! I have been a huge fan, and have recommended Vizio to many friends. I feel like I have been let down.

Sound was terrible!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must of received a defective one or something because the sound was terrible. I don't even put the volume up loud. I tend to never go above level 10 with any of my tv's. This TV though sounded like there was static or little screws and bolts shaking inside the speakers throughout the entire time. I had to return it and exchange it for a Samsung TV which to me worked way better. Another thing I just realized about owning two Vizio TVs is that the TV's take forever to turn on and to change channels. And don't even get me started with their APPS. The App interface on a Vizio is extremely slow and it lags.

Poor service on poor item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv from Best Buy in Destin, FL. Started having issues after two weeks. Portion of the screen scrambles, then turns off and on. Took it back after 21 days to the store and they told me they would not exchange it because their return policy is 15 days unless you're an elite member. They offered to send it off and sell me a new one while I waited for it to be repaired. Others stores in the area offer a 90 day exchange. I would highly suggest not buying any product from the Best Buy in Destin. They do not stand behind what they sell.

Get something else
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading multiple reviews praising this TV I decided to give Vizio a try. After spending two days trying to get the colors correct I decided to return it. No matter what I did the picture did not look right. The upscaling on the TV for non-HD signals is terrible and actually looks much worse than the 1080P LG TV I had previously. My wife told me I had to return it because she couldn't watch it anymore. I picked up a Sony 810C instead..

TV might have been OK, Customer Service Terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchases this TV to replace a Samsung that had served us well for many years. At first I was determined to purchase another Samsung, as my experience with them has always been terrific, but I thought that I would give Vizio a shot because it had some aspects on the technical side that were a bit better then the "like" Samsung. I got the TV delivered, which was done so very professionally by Best Buy. I unboxed it and installed it, removing my old Samsung. The Vizio worked for roughly 20 hours before it just went dead. We called tech support at Vizio who walked us through a number of trouble shooting steps before deeming it an out of box defect. They told us to call back in for the RMA number once we have removed it from the wall and boxed it up. We called back in and spoke to another member of the customer support at Vizio and the gentleman started us back at the beginning asking the same questions, taking us through the same steps even after we told him that we had called in already and were told to box it up and call back for an RMA, but he still kept asking. After getting the same results as the first round of questions, he finally gave me the RMA and said that they will send me a replacement that will be there within 10 -14 business days.....yes you read that correctly, 10-14 business days without a TV in a household with small children. How well did he really think that would go? I tried to explain what the issue with that long of a timeline was but he said that he had no way to make it happen sooner. I asked for a supervisor and after waiting quite a while the person I was working with came back on and said that his supervisor told him to tell me the best that they could do was call the warehouse and ask them to expedite it but that they would not give any guaranty, which to me sounded more like a tactic to get me off of the phone. Their tactic worked I hung up, drove to Best Buy, returned the Vizio, and purchased another brand of TV that has since been up and working for about 2 weeks without issue. I will never buy a Vizio anything again.

Don't even try it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had three of these within one week. The screens all went bad. One lasted a whole 4 hours before the back light went out. Took it back, and purchase another brand. Spend the extra money and get a real UHDTV. Not one of these.

Only lasted 5 years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our Vizio 55" 4K Ultra HD TV just died this week. We paid nearly $1000 for this TV and it only lasted 5 years! My advice is that you stay away from Vizio. It was fine while it lasted, but a 5-year life is not long enough for that kind of a purchase in my opinion. There was no electrical storm, no abuse or misuse...nothing. It just suddenly had half the screen turn to a scrambled mess. We did what everyone does when something like that happens...turn it off and back on. However, we could never get it to turn back on. Don't buy a Vizio.

Picture failing in 22 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately the screen has developed 2 horizontal lines across it that appear to be getting worse. The first one appeared about 1/3 of the way from the bottom, the 2nd about 1/3 of the way from the top. I saw similar problems reported though most were vertical lines and were attributed to pixel failure--I assume this is the same. It also seems to have developed an out of focus area (blurry) horizontally about an inch wide across the top of the screen. For the money I'd certainly have expected a little more life after the reviews i used to buy from.

Piece of junk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Junk junk junk! Do not waste your money on this, unless you want a disposable television. Had this less than two years and the picture is doubled. The repair would cost half of what I paid for it. Basically worthless. I'll never buy a Vizio again.

DO NOT BUY ANY VIZIO
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this Vizio 4 K Ultra TV less than 9 months ago. We were very pleased at first. Suddenly, a white strip about 6 inches in width popped up in the center of the screen. I called Vizio Customer service and went through everything they asked. They then wanted pictures of the tv sent to them so they could send us a tv under warranty. While taking the photos, the entire screen went out. I sent those pictures as well to show this. I received an email from them to call because they had received the pictures. The lady I spoke with then Informs me that something must have hit the tv to break the lcd panel on the inside. Now they refuse to honor their warranty and I had to go buy another tv. There is no way they could tell from looking at a picture that the lcd panel on the inside was broken. At 32 years old, I most certainly have never thrown anything at a tv. Just a way to get out of covering their warranty. READ complaints and reviews online before you buy. Don't depend on reviews from here. When I looked up their info to call them after this happened, there are THOUSANDS of complaints against Vizio for the same issue. I can't believe we paid for a TV that didn't even last a year. I've always bought Samsung products in the past, except this one, and I will never buy anything else...especially a Vizio.

Great picture except for the black dot!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within 45 days of purchasing this tv I noticed that there was a small black something in the middle of the screen. When I called them re the warranty, after sending several pictures they claim that it is a bug, a dead bug behind the screen and they won't cover that.?! I said, why do you make tvs that allow bugs to get into them, how is that my fault and what will it look like in 2 years?! Then last night the TV wouldn't turn back on so I had to unplug and replug. Their customer service is terrible and I've placed a call to AMEX, Don't buy this tv.
