The quality of the picture is very good and it's definitely been worth buying. The only thing that drives me nuts is the remote "tablet" and the very basic, bare-bones remote. I do not have access to cable and my only internet source is a wifi with limited data. Therefore I do not keep the TV connected to the internet. When I want to watch Netflix or some other internet based show, it takes me 10 minutes to re-set up the TV with the remote tablet. Why couldn't they have just created one user friendly remote instead of having the tablet? The tablet is almost too much of a hassle to even use. However the TV in and of itself is a good TV. If recommending to a friend, I would tell them about the remote tablet issue.

Vizio Mode: M55-D0 is excellent entry into the 4K television market. The 55" screen is bright and the refresh rate is good for fast moving sports. The tablet remote is a nice addition and no problems connecting tablet or TV to home wi-fi network. Chromecast feature on tablet provide vivid 4K pictures for Netflix programming which is streamed in 4K such as House of Cards, Stranger Things and Narcos. I Wish the tablet remote had a quick access physical button to switch among the HDMI inputs, without having to wake up the tablet and unlock the screen, but the small standard remote which comes with it allows you to quickly switch with a button-push from cable to Blu-ray or Xbox One S. Also while playing Xbox One S games output to the main HDMI 4K port , the screen may blink out to white static for one or two seconds and revert back to the game action. Both Vizio and Microsoft are aware of the issue and Vizio has issued an update patch, but the blink issue has been determined to be an Xbox One S design flaw, and Microsoft needs to push out an update to correct, but as of 2017 has not released patch. This small blink issue occurs infrequently enough, that it is not a deal-breaker and gaming can enjoyed as usual. I've heard this blink issue is primarily with digitally purchased and downloaded games and not with physical discs, but I cannot confirm because I have seen it with both types of games, but not with 4K Blu-ray disc movie playback. The 4K movie disc play fine without issue. Overall a very good buy for $700 price point.

Very clear picture. Comes with a tablet to use as a remote. Definitely worth the price. display is that of a much more expensive tv. Very satisfied with my purchase

Excellent set for the price, I have both the M series 70" in my living room and now the 55" in my bed room replacing a 10+ year old plasma and I couldn't be happier. Very fluid pircture, incredibly sharp images for action in movie and sports. Would highly reccomend. Only draw back for a "bedroom" set is wishing the regular remote had a sleep timer button but instead having to use the tab remote to do so.

I was looking for a 4K with HDR and this particular TV met my needs.

First let me start off by saying the picture on this TV is amazing, great quality! My fiance and I purchased this tv for our bedroom to replace a 37" LCD Vizio Tv, This Tv comes with a tablet that you use to share what's on it to the tv. In order to use the apps (netflix, hbo go, ect), you have to fun it on the tablet and then share it to the tv. The quality of the picture and overall performance is not good. We use our PS4 when using apps on the tv now. My parents bought a different vizio smart tv at the same time as us and the picture quality of the apps are soo much better because it's build right into the tv instead of having to use a tablet . I would recommend this for cable and dvd only, if you use apps alot buy one with built in apps instead or make sure you have an alternative streaming player that plugs into the tv.

This display took some time and effort to calibrate, however the picture and features are well above the price point when comparing them to other brands.

TV has a great picture and is relatively easy to operate. Biggest reason I did not rate a 5 star review is that it loses its connection to the wifi sometimes for no reason. Setup only takes a few moments, but still an inconvenience.

So far so good... Had this TV for about a month now and I really like it. Colors are great, menu is easy to use and understand. The fact that it came with a tablet is pretty cool too, although we don't seem to use it very much. If your technically challenged it may be hard for you to understand the ins and outs of the smartcast program and casting in general. My wife was having difficulties so I just plugged in a ROKU for her and we were back in business. Being a tech geek though I love being able to cast from my devices as well as use the smartcast app to adjust settings. Only knock I have for the TV is the sound. Its garbage. Not that I expected to be blown away, but I find myself using my surround sound now about 95% of the time. No biggie I guess, but this is a review after all...

This is exactly as advertised and picture quality is excellent. Chromecast works great but is a little cumbersome for inexperienced users. Switching inputs requires use of the included Android tablet that requires a learning curve and is not very intuitive. Suggest trying it out before you buy.

It's good price Best technology However they have to mail a new version for the remote control I wish they can solve this issue

We've been behind the times not having a flat screen TV in our home!! This is our first because we didn't buy when our old reliables still worked. We made 2 purchases at other stores that we had to return before our visit to Best Buy. We received a great deal and definitely got more bang for our buck. It was fairly easy to set up. It has a fantastic picture and although the sound is just fine for us we are talking about adding a sound bar. The only drawback is the tablet. We only use it for access to Netflix. I also think the manual could do a better job of explaining setting, picture modes and things for me and be printed. I don't like having to access the full manual online. But we are in love with our new TV and are happy.

Even though it's still early for 4k, I couldn't be happier with the features of this TV. The colors are in your face nice, the HDR is a nice feature to add, and I am sure once the Scorpio project comes out, games will POP. Overall nice purchase. Never had an issue from Vizio TVs.

Takes a while to get used to the tablet as the remote for casting, but once you have that down, it's a great picture and tv

This TV is perfect for gaming (the input lag is low), especially if you have an HDR 4K capable gaming system (I have an Xbox One S, and I also use the TV as my computer monitor). The wide gamut of color looks incredible and images appear crisp and clear. Don't be afraid of the Android Tablet that comes with the TV for streaming. It is actually very easy and simple to use. The benefit of being able to use an Android OS to stream your content is that there are many more apps available than you will find for the typical Smart TV. You can also use your phone (if you have an android) to do all of the same functions. Only negative about the TV is that it is not always clear what format the content you are watching is in. For example, if you are streaming HDR content, the TV will not tell actively you if HDR has been activated, so you are kind of left to wonder if the HDR function on the TV is even working.

I had been checking this model out for quite some time. Our TV went out and when I checked online at Best Buy, I found that it was on sale!! I read over the reviews again and ordered the TV. It was delivered to our house in a few days. The quality of the picture is so clear and the color is awesome. I would highly recommend this TV.

Great TV for the price. Has a great picture. Android TV, so you can get apps from the Google Play store. Average sound.

TV picture is wonderful and I love the android remote. It adds a different element to the TV watching experience.
