Local Array FTW!

Has the best Contrast Ratio in its class and a little above. The Ui could use some work but Overall its the best bang for buck Tv I've ever had. The local array dimming is a over the top feature that makes this TV look more expensive than what it is. Its a steal.

Good price/Falls short

But right away I realized I wasn’t going to be happy for three reasons. 1. The glare. I am coming from a Samsung 8000 series that has a glossy screen thinking having a mat screen would be much better. (Wrong) 2. Scrolling through the apps was just too slow. Not a big deal but bothered me enough. 3. Picture qualities (specifically colors) fell way short of the reviews I’ve read. In the end I went with the Samsung 2019 8000 series and couldn’t be happier.

Posted .Hello Xav33, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that your source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture settings that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room, try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room, try Calibrated Dark.

Great tv for the price.

The one problem I have with Vizio TVs is there ability to receive a good WiFi signal. We just had to by a cheap WiFi booster even tho the Xbox, our phones, and the Fire stick all got full signal, while the tv was in a better spot with 2 bars?

Turns on by it self and lose sound

Sound cuts off randomly every hour or so. Vizio send 3 Techs and switch the Tv twice but the problems remained. Other that the TV has good pic, sound and functions, but a cheap looking remote. They are processing a refund for me which will take 5 to 6 weeks.

Good Value If You Can Make It Work For You

However, I was never able to make it work with the HDMI ARC control into my Yamaha RX-673 receiver. I tried calling customer support with Vizio and wasn't able to get help on the weekend. Since I wanted to use the TV, but couldn't, I decided to return it and instead got a Samsung QLED smart TV that had no issues connecting to my home theater system.

Not really impressive

I have a better picture on my less expensive TCL 55”. If I could, without so much trouble, I would return and get another TCL. The sound is not very good either and I don’t want to spend another $100 or $200 for a sound bar. I really thought that this was the one that had a good picture when the show is in a dark setting, but it is not. Wish I had not spent the $600 plus tax, for this tv.

Happy but not

The problem is that it turns off and on all by itself. Will turn off at night and come in the next morning and TV is on, will be watching and changing functions and it will just turn off. When TV is working it is a great picture with a great price. With Best Buy being closed hard to get in and discuss my issues with someone.

Great picture for price but keeps turning on

Fix had to disable CEC (automatic control of HDMI devices and set power mode to quick start. Disabling CEC means ROKU and Blu-ray devices are not automatically recognized by the tv. I have to select input. I have seriously considered returning except for the hassle involved since it's wall mounted. Ease of use: fair due to research required to stop tv from turning itself on.
