    I bought this to replace a much larger lasko fan . This fan is a lot quieter and directs the air much better than my old fan.

    OK let me try this review again... Got this to replace and older Vornado. new one spins and blows air like the other one; big difference is this one has only three fixed speed settings versus and adjustable speed setting that the old fan had.

    I got this to replace an older model that is having a bit of motor trouble after many years of use. The replacement works well enough, I only wish that it was variable speed control instead of the 3-fixed speed type.
