This accomplished that. I like how these can "close" off and doesn't allow much light in. I just don't like how this doesn't have a physical remote and shouldn't be installed vertically (you can but you void the warranty and the lubricant in the motor will slowly come out...trust me).

Posted .We’re sorry to hear that the Transom AE did not meet your needs. It is not intended to be installed year-round, as the vents close, but do not seal. It should be uninstalled when the seasons change to the more extreme temperatures.
