Didn't need an answering machine and all the extras so this simple phone fits the bill. Works as expected.

Plug into router-plug into wall-make call. No frills-caller Id-clear speaker-basic phone. I use for work from home purposes and when I can’t find my cell phone!

The only unfortunate situation is that you can only buy basic units without the answering machine.

This phone was a reasonable price, extremely easy to set-up, and so far easy to use. The numbers are back-lit and a pretty good size if that's what you need. So far no complaints.
