This phone works well and only needs to be plugged into the telephone jack to work. I recommend it to anyone who needs a landline phone.

She keeps telling me she cannot hear the callers? But at the same time she has pushed the speaker phone button. Sooo!! There is nothing coming through to her ear. And, therefore, she cannot hear. The phone has a very good volume and is relatively easy to operate with fair sized buttons for those in need.

On the other hand, when I see spam, I do not answer and press off.
