Holds the Gen 1 or Gen2 (only) echo snuggly and connects to it via a rubbery section that folds out a bit. The connection is solid and will run the echo off of its internal battery for a couple hours. Basically this device allows you to move your echo around without unplugging it. It allows for use while charging...and remains on when the mains connection is removed or added. Overall very pleased.
