Bought this in July 2010, installed it, and used it for the past 3 years. It has now seized up. The previous Insinkerator lasted for at least 10 years. It worked OK until now. I'd have expected it to last a little longer.

You know the disposal might actually be ok, but I never had it installed. Bought it. The salesperson suggested it. I thought ok, but was not told you had to have an outlet to plug it in under your sink and my old one was hardwired model. The installer was going to charge me $90 to add the outlet....I went and bought another myself before installer got to my home. He returned the WasteKing and I paid him less than half of the installation price I was being charged. Just make sure you have an outlet down there for the thing.

Impossible to install with one person using the EZ flange. Requires 4 hands, 2 to hold the bracket from moving upward and 2 to hold the disposal up and twist into the flange. Very annoying and basically forced me to go 2 weeks without using my dishwasher and sink until I could get someone to help, Sad times :(. I assume most people that reviewed this haven't used the EZ flange and or had multiple people during install. Just a heads up to anyone like myself.

I purchased the easy mount instead of the three bolt garbage disposal because it was suppose to be easy. The product was either defective or poorly manufactured because we are unable to attache the actual disposal to the sink flange. After trying for a week to get it attached, I finally returned it and purchased a three-bolt insinkerator and had no problems with the installation.
