Pros:
+ Smooth hacking
+ Interesting story
+ Xbox One impulse triggers are AMAZING
+ Amount of stuff to do (Main missions, mini games, side missions, etc)
Cons:
- Driving mechanics can be slightly better
- Cover mechanics can be better
- Slightly weird button scheme
All of the cons just take getting used to. It's a great game though. I didn't go into this game expecting it to be the best game ever like some people did, but I was still more than satisfied.

When I got the game and installed it I was just happy that I didn't get the Uplay error that a lot people were getting. I went into the game without reading a lot of articles or watching a lot of gameplays. The game was pretty fluid and the idea of being able to hack in to anything was cool. They button layout on the controls is odd and the handling on styles of cars makes no sense but the game is extremely fun. The online is really fun and is different than any multiplier I have ever played. It definitely fulfilling being in a open world and hacking into others people wandering around in your game. I would definitely suggest the game to anyone that like to problem solve.

The hacking mechanic works flawlessly in the open world setup. What doesn't work is well is the driving. Ubisoft doesn't have much experience with driving games and that part shows. Overall, the game is a fresh take on an open world title. It gives the player hundreds of ways to approach each mission.

Still early and I haven't progressed very far, but I've been pleased thus far. If you're ADD or OCD as I tend to be sometimes, you'll find yourself distracted from the main story and attracted to the plethora of mini-games and play them obsessively until you get a score you can be satisfied with ;). One of the first missions threw me for a loop. Had to evade the police, but drove around for 15 minutes and couldn't figure out what I needed to do. Finally reset to checkpoint, and actually engaged the police more directly before evading successfully.
A lot like GTA, but a bit more brainpower is required for some of the hacking. Hasn't been too difficult yet and offers a nice challenge. Still trying to get the hang of all the in-game phone apps (D-pad up) and the progress wheel, skills, etc. Overall, a lot to it all. Likely to keep me engaged for far more time than I really have. The honey-do list is going to grow again, I fear.

I've been waiting for this game for a while since I got my XBOX ONE. I finished off AC4 just in time for this one. The game as great voice acting and so far an intriguing story. I end up getting caught in doing so many different things that I haven't totally focused on the story. There are of course side missions you can do, but the fun of this game is that this concept hasn't really been done before (or at least I haven't played it). The amount of hacking, car chases, investigations etc... Can keep this going on for hours before you even get to the story.
The graphics look really nice and the city is thriving especially at night.
The only thing I would say is that the driving can be rough sometimes but actually it's just like (that other game) so if you're used to it, that shouldn't be a problem.
I'm disappointed in the resolution drop but that's not the game that's the system, honestly you can't even tell.

Same feeling as other open world games. This could be good for other people but after playing the GTA games and Assasin's Creed games, you don't get that full excitement of open world like you did with GTA 3 and AC1 and 2.
- Repetition. I ended up playing the game most of the night but it's pretty repetitive when you are doing side missions. You hack someone, track them down, then knock them out or kill them.
- You can only have one save. So far Ubisoft only allows you to have one save and its tied into your Xbox live account. If you want to start a new game you have to use a different account. I haven't looked at all the achievements but this does not give you a chance to play a good guy and then a bad guy or vice versa.
Pros:
- Unique story line. People are comparing this game too much to GTA 5. Well you shouldn't because the story line holds up on it's own. Some people say it started off slow but I feel the main story line started off with a bang.
-Detail. I'm not talking about the graphics here. I was shocked to see that every single person you run into the street has a story. Basically when you are in scanning mode, every person has their age, profession, income and a sentence explaining what stands out about them. EX. I was running around just wanting to destroy stuff. Just ran into the middle of the street and a car came close to hitting me. I pulled out my gun and aimed it at the driver. I actually felt sorry for him and I couldn't kill him. He was a custodian, didn't make much money, and his brother was murdered. I couldn't bring myself to bring him to his end but I love a game that can make you feel connected to the game like that.
-Talents. Like most RPGs this has a point system to upgrade you abilities. For Hacking, Combat, Driving and Crafting. You do have to follow upgrade trees because some of the better abilities don't unlock until later in the game. I find the trees simple and easy to understand. Also adds that extra excitement because the next thing is something that can always help you out.
-Chicago. Even though this has the same feeling as other open world games...it's always nice being able to run around a town you never been in before. I already read from people that actually live in Chicago, that a lot of the places are inaccurate besides the landmarks that are really there. But to me, it's different.
-Content. There is a lot do and a lot to learn. When something new comes up you get a tutorial window popping up for it. At the same time you have to find your side missions by hacking other people, or sometimes a side quest will pop up and you can accept it. When I first started I felt overwhelmed just because I just wanted to scan people around me to read their profile, lol.
-Play the way you want. When doing missions you can approach them guns blazing or using stealth. Either way can be successful and at the same time, it adds enough change to want to try it both guns blazing and using stealth.

Throw a modern twist onto GTA and add a Robin Hood type guy and you've got yourself Watch Dogs. Super fun game! Love how his story blends into the game. Very hard to stop playing! I took off one star because I would have liked to see this game in a way where every mission can be done with or without violence. There's more shooting in it than anticipated. Great game still!

Disclaimer: I've only had the change to play this game for about an hour, so take what follows with a grain of salt:
This game looks gorgeous. The dialogue and voice acting seem very well done (Jordi, the main character's first accomplice you meet at the start of the game, is a hoot). The hacking element seems very well done. Stealth segments that I ran across force you to think your way through a situation and is rewarding when you pull it off.
In addition, the game world is quite large, the driving mechanics are from the team behind the Driver series (meaning it can't be all that bad), the minigames are fun, and the multiplayer invasions keep you on the edge of your seat.
All that being said, as alive as the game world seems, it's a bit watered down that what we've seen from its E3 showings the past couple years. And if the main character got his niece killed due to his criminal actions and are hunting down the men responsible, why do you then get the choice to blindly go through and have the option to steal money from people, murder them, etc.? Grand Theft Auto IV's Niko Bellic was the same way and made it extremely had to sympathize with the protagonist.
All in all, don't expect a revolutionary "next-gen" experience, but DO expect a very fun and exciting open-world experience!

If you need another game to change your pace, especially for next gen consoles, Watch_Dogs is a good one to pick up. The controls are weird, but once you're used to them, it's a fairly fun and fluid game. Plenty of in depth story and fairly good physics to keep you amused for hours, plus all the internet easter eggs the devs put in provide good laughs when found.

Watch Dogs was a fun game. It has a large open world to explore and unlock new area through hacking, which is unique and fun. Some side missions like digital trips are simply awesome (examples include wrecking havoc in a spider tank and driving a car while running over demonic creatures) but others are uninventive and similar to other open world games (destroying convoys for example). At times the hacking feels well throughout and executed (examples include unlocking new areas of the city and some main story missions) but at others times it feels that it was just thrown in with little thought (the main example is the invading players, which forces one to drop what they are doing in order to find this enemy player, which breaks the pace of the game and gets simply aggravating). Graphics are average for the Xbox One, which means they get the job done but are no means spectacular. If the developers were given a bit more time I think this game could have been great, but like most games today it feels slightly unfinished and rushed but not as bad as some games. I would recommend this game because it is fun, but it is not groundbreaking.

I can tell you the pros and cons to start. This game is similar to the GTA series in that you can steal cars and have missions you go on, as well as having side activities and an open world. Also, much like Assassin's Creed or Farcry, you have towers that you unlock to see more of the surrounding events and such. In addition there is a moral compass of sorts that can be adjusted by things such as preventing crimes (better results if you don't let the victim get killed or the bad guy) or running over people (yes, that's a bad thing). On the down side, some mission types are VERY hard (at least for me), but luckily none of them are the campaign missions. Also, some might not enjoy the degree of camera related activities vs a hands on approach.
That all being said, love it or hate it, the storyline's concept itself is a very good one. The concept of the growing invasiveness of technology in our daily lives is taken to the farthest extreme here, and the potential results examined. Makes for a great dystopian story that I think you will enjoy.

This game looks and plays well. The story is interesting, however it feels strange if only for the fact you are hacking innocent peoples bank accounts. Some of the missions are really challenging and some are outright fun. Cant wait to see how it wraps up.

What can I say about this game? Well, the graphics are really great, however, that is to be expected with a powerful gaming system such as the Xbox One. The plot of the game was excellent, in my opinion. The controls, on the other hand, were fairly difficult to grasp, even after playing the games 8 hours in. I just think the button layouts could've been designed a little better. For example, you need to hold down X to "hack" a city system, whether that be a circuit breaker or a stop light. Well, when you have to hold down the right trigger to give your car gas, it becomes fairly difficult to hold down the gas at the same time that your holding down X to hack the stop lights in front of you. I think the A button would've been better suited for the task. Just some minor difficulties with the controls, though, everything else was excellent.

This is a really good game. Ubisoft created a open world with plenty to do. Hacking is fun and learning to evade the cops by switching traffic lights, activated barriers, and jumping bridges is very satisfying. The driving takes some getting use to.

Love it. Hard to leave my Xbox One alone. Driving takes a minute to get used to. As well, GTA had this same rush when it first came out but the grinding killed it along with the hacks. Lets hope Ubisoft can learn from GTA's mistakes.
Ive been killing the side missions, they are just so much fun, will have to play the storyline which is awesome as well and catch up to my friends.

This is a really good open-world shooter. The guns feel and shoot great.
Hacking is fun and useful. The Stealth is also very good. It is very fun to watch the enemy through cameras and to take them out by exploding pipes and such.
The driving is not good with the exception of motorcycles which handle well.
The main story is ok at best. Not terrible, just not great. The Side missions are great. Taking down convoys, gang-hideouts, and stopping crimes in progress never gets old.
The game has a lot to unlock, but there is no mission replay option (like in most Assassins creed games, or GTA V). So once you beat the game you have to start over to play the missions again, which means you have to re-unlock everything.
Overall this is a really good game. I would recommend picking it up at $40 or less.

This game starts off pretty slow so it is hard to get into, but it does pick up and becomes fun. Just make it past those first few missions. The cool thing about this game, instead of running and gunning every mission. You can make use of technology to distract guards, lure guards, set off explosion traps. So you can play sneaky or run and gun. Personally I like to complete everything stealthy and keep my character out of harms way ^_^.
The driving mechanics are simply terrible. It is more arcade style driving that will make you appreciate GTA V's driving.
If you pre purchased this game from bestbuy, you dont get your pre purchase reward because they haven't sent out the codes and done believe they are going to.

An open world action-adventure game with a story is decent. Hacking is fun and fluid, the missions are fun and the game itself offers hours upon hours of gameplay and replay value is okay as well.
