Was able to easily remove my old filter and put this right in and my fridge recognized it without issue.

Learned my lesson. I used a filter that wasn’t GE. You can really taste the difference. Must be the quality of the materials that make it filter properly, I have no accurate response BUT! the tase is different. It might be more expensive but it’s s worth it, like i said, lesson.

Product is easy to install and does a good job providing clean drinking water and ice from the fridge. The only issue is this model is very similar to the previous besides a RFID chip which prevents you from using it so we have to pay more for the newer one.

The filter works well and is easy to install. In my opinion, though, it's too expensive. These things say they need to be replaced about every 4-6 months which is a big bite out of the budget. I wish someone would come out with a generic...

These are nice because they are not as expensive as the name brands and provide the same quality.

Good filter for the fridge, keeps the water and ice tasting as it should. Price is a bit high, but it works well.

This is an OEM replacement so it was an exact replacement. It fit perfectly and works perfectly. No complaints. I've read where the generic ones have issues - go OEM and never look back.

GE filter protects our family and refrigerator. I saw many other products that are compatible with this fridge but I am afraid of using them may cause issues and also void the warranty on the fridge. So continuously using this filter and never regret about the selection.

GE water filter for our refrigerator comes twice a year with no hassle on our part. I used to try to get them from GE and it was more expensive than Best Buy and such a hassle.

What really is there to say about a water filter. It fits the fridge correctly and there is no funny taste or smell to the water or ice cubes. We don't have problems with our water, just like to have it filtered. Also, I am not sure there is a way to have water and ice at the door without a filter. The price is usually the cheapest around, when you get a subscription.
