A good replacement filter for my GE refrigerator and easy to install. I prefer the brand name filters as they seem to be easier to replace even though the generic work well also

Learned my lesson. I used a filter that wasn’t GE. You can really taste the difference. Must be the quality of the materials that make it filter properly, I have no accurate response BUT! the tase is different. It might be more expensive but it’s s worth it, like i said, lesson.

Product is easy to install and does a good job providing clean drinking water and ice from the fridge. The only issue is this model is very similar to the previous besides a RFID chip which prevents you from using it so we have to pay more for the newer one.

I am pleased with the durability and taste of the water using this filter. it has saved us a lot of money from buying water bottles.

The filter works well and is easy to install. In my opinion, though, it's too expensive. These things say they need to be replaced about every 4-6 months which is a big bite out of the budget. I wish someone would come out with a generic...

Good filter for the fridge, keeps the water and ice tasting as it should. Price is a bit high, but it works well.

This is an OEM replacement so it was an exact replacement. It fit perfectly and works perfectly. No complaints. I've read where the generic ones have issues - go OEM and never look back.

It’s easy to replace, in couple mins we get filtered water.

I will only purchase the RPWFE GE refrigerator water filter from Best Buy. I have previously purchased this particular water filter from the major hardware store but the product is in slightly different packaging and had to be returned multiple times because it will not work with my refrigerator even through it is labeled the same. I believe counterfeit products are possibly being sold by major hardware store, or they have a large supply of defective filters.

GE filter protects our family and refrigerator. I saw many other products that are compatible with this fridge but I am afraid of using them may cause issues and also void the warranty on the fridge. So continuously using this filter and never regret about the selection.
