My PC shuts down suddenly when playing demanding games and noticed it only statted happeneing after I installed this HDD, i want to like it but worry that it will continue so i have to return it if that is the case. Already happened three times, twice while playing Ready or Not and surprisingly once while playing CS 2

I recently purchased the WD - BLACK 6TB Gaming Internal Hard Drive, not for gaming but to use in my NVR system for security cameras, and it has exceeded my expectations. These WD "Black" hard drives are extreeeeemely reliable. I have purchased MANY of them over the years. But here's a tip: keep your computers protected by UPS's, so they are not subject to fluctuations in current. I'm pretty sure that's why mine have lasted so long.

The disk is working flawlessly so far, it has good writting speed with large files, not that great with hundreds of files, but it is to be expected. Also, it's a fairly quiet drive, so I'm happy with it.

Works great best gaming drive ever just the right size and blazing fast

Needed a drive for bulk storage and this is surprisingly powerful and has sustained data transfers of 250 Mb per second reading and write, which is impressive for a physical rotating disc hard drive!

It probably goes without saying because this is an HDD, but this thing is sloooooow. I've also had several crashes in Windows that didn't occur under similar situations in Windows on my SSDs, so I suspect it's to blame. Price was relatively good for the storage space, but there are far better deals available if you can wait for shipping.

HDDs are known to make noise. I didn't expect how much and how loud it would be. It's VERY fast for an HDD and a good price, but if you don't want to hear what sounds like a gremlin can't scratching a metal grate this drive is not for you.

I bought this 3 months ago, and up until last week it's been okay. A little noisy in the computer, and slow to play games from. Recently, however, it has been causing my pc to freeze soon after booting it up. At first I thought it was the GPU, but after removing this hard drive, my computer has been running perfect. Not happy.

Very great for my computer especially since my computer has been down
