They dropped the price the following week after i purchased it. My purchase was during holiday time so i was dissapointed that bestbuy delayed in dropping the price sooner.

The SN850 houses the SSD as well as a built-in heatsink within a black casing that emulates the industrial look of Western Digital’s WD Black performance line. One of the things I do not like is having to remove the PS5 case/covers with all the videos saying how easy. Its not as easy as it sounds. But this is a PS5 thing not a SSD thing.

There were other options that were cheaper but I decided to stick with something that was specifically made for the station.
