This review is based on using drive with a PS5. I’m sure it can be used with PC…but it’s specifically branded for PlayStation. I gave it 5 starts due to the fact it was quick to install, took 1 button push when prompted to format the drive and we didn’t have to think about afterwards. As far as value there are cheaper versions out here, but I was concerned about the quality. So I paid a little more peace of mind. It took 30 seconds of a YouTube video to figure how to open the PS5. The cover slides off…it’s just not apparent. And then a quick turn with a Phillips head screw drive for the drive compartment. All in all it’s a 5min installation.

Works very well with PS5, easy to install, and the power to download games and stite onto PS5 without worrying about memory issues; is phenomenal!

Finally I can install ANY call of duty and not have to delete other installs. Let's face it...games are getting greedy with the storage amount they're asking for. It is a simple, easy to install addition that is essential for anyone that wishes to enjoy their PS5 to the fullest. The 2 extra terabytes and added Heatsink feature will ensure that you will be playing your console for a far longer time than without it. I'd recommend it to my grandmother if she understood today's technology.

Great memory option for ps5 upgrade. I love how many games I can get in my library that is ready to play now. Make sure that you have plenty of open space and ample air flow because it does warm up a bit. I have used mine for over a year with no overheating issues or any other external air flow.

Sony finally certified this drive for the PS5, grabbed it on sale. Dropped it in my PS5, no issues recognizing it, formatted fine. Moved over almost 400GB of games from the internal storage to this drive, speeds were as expected for a Gen4 drive. So far it’s performing exactly as intended, which is how storage should act.

I had already purchased an external hard drive for some of my older games. I was going to buy another one, then I came across this. Honestly, I wish I would have purchased one of these first! None of the time waiting for games to transfer back and forth between the hard drive to the playstation. Also, I can tell the difference in how the PlayStation runs and the games I have on this card since it has the additional heat sync... very happy! Highly recommend!

If anyone needs extra space for their PS5, you need this product. Easy install and will be worthwhile in the long-term. My PS5 runs significantly faster now even though I have a lot of game with huge Gb sizes.
