    I purchased this to replace a 500GB NVMe in a laptop. The original NVMe has Intel Optane, so I wasn't sure if this would work as well. After moving my Windows installation to this drive and rebooting, I was unimpressed. However, Windows then cached the index for the files on the drive and now I don't notice the difference. This laptop is not used for disk intensive operations, so I can't comment on how the lack of the Optane component ompacts system performance.
