It’s an amazing hard drive. I installed it in my PS4 and is and amazing hard drive has never gave me a problem.

The WD Mainstream 1TB SATA drive is an excellent upgrade or replacement drive in any laptop or gaming system. I've found it to be very reliable, and its 1TB size provides more storage than most factory installed laptop drives. I use it, and I recommend it.

This drive worked great as a replacement for a failed other brand. I have been in the computer repair business for 15 years and Western Digital is my preferred brand for traditional hard drives (both laptop and desktop). There will always be a small percentage of drives with issues - bad sectors, fail in a year or two, etc. In my experience, WD drives are the most reliable on the market these days. I won't bash any other manufacturer here, but if it is not WD, I don't put them in my customers' machines.

I bought this to replace the hard drive in my MacBook Pro. Works great! I have a very large iTunes library and it runs like a champion now!

I was doing a swap over on my older mac. I took out a 250gb drive and put that in an enclosure and put the terabyte into my mac. I love the space. Since its an older laptop I wasn't looking for an SSD but this was great for the price. I got mine on sale.

The new hard drive is working very well and has greater capacity and speed than my original hard drive, so I am very pleased.

Got this for my ps4 pro. Easy to install and my ps4 runs at 100% again! Needed a new one since my ps4 pro was studdering and freezing during gameplay and on the system menus.

This hard drive has lots of storage for low price. It's not the quickest or newest form of hard drive technology, but it allowed me to repair a laptop with a broken hard drive and increase the storage space for a very reasonable price.

Have a 4 year old Dell inspiration all in one touch screen where a recent update rendered the hard drive dead, as its an AMD chip set it will not boot from SSD so it had to be an HDD (confirmed from Dell) luckily had all backed up except windows lol, installed booted from bootable USB windows, which I made on my lap top, worked a treat, revived an old PC to as good as when first purchased !!

Inexpensive for such large storage space! Works well and my laptop runs better Han it has in a long time.

I bought this to add a 2nd drive to my Thinkpad laptop. It installed in under 5 minutes, and I configured it to be one drive. It works great!

My hard drive crashed in my laptop so I took it to the Geek Squad. They installed this drive in my computer and it is literally a new machine, faster than it was when it was new. I am sure a lot of it has to do with removing all of the trash, temporary files and fragments, but the access speed on this hard drive is super fast, plus it is 1 TB, 25% larger than the original HD, I am no gamer and I do not download lots of files from the internet, so I doubt I will ever come close to filling this thing up. I recommend this hard drive highly!

Love the additional space and performance! Bought this to upgrade an older laptop, and pleased with the results.

I was having problems with computer,my laptop was functioning poorly.Best buy checked my unit and said i needed a new hard drive.After repair my laptop was running ,even faster.

My hard drive needed to be updgraded in my Dell laptop and this drive works perfectly. More storage, relatively quick and quiet.
