I needed more storage in my computer, so I picked this up. It is fast and have had no issues and had no issues installing the drive. I have another one on the way because of the quality of the drive.

I bought this to replace another internal drive that was dying rapidly. The drive was fairly easy to install, and I had no problem installing a new version of Windows. I was able to transfer all of my pertinent data from the old drive before it died completely, so the hard drive was well worth the money. 2tb is a lot of storage space, and I recommend it to anyone who wants a large internal hard drive.

I am using my WD Blue in a “toaster” as a network server “filing cabinet”. It allows me to access music, photos and documents from my laptops, iPad and cell phones. I also have a 4T Red drive. Both are great workhorses.

Easy to install. Runs quiet. Nothing fancy about it. Wish I would have gotten a larger storage capacity but it fits my needs for now. Only complaint I have, and this has nothing to do with WD, is that standard size drives are getting harder to fit in towers.

This hard drive is easy to install. Once your operating system is installed the speed of the drive is faster than my old drive was by far.
My only complaint is that a free product was supposed to have been included with this purchase and it was not included when I picked up the drive.

Some one once said 500 GB's will be plenty, then it's 1Tb is enough. Now with so much you can run with your computer and stream it's hard to think one can fill up 2 TB. The 2 TB WD was easy to install and with the program I downloaded from the WD site made it easy to clone. One thing to remember is get the program from the WD site and it will make the cloning process very easy.

This Harddrve was easy to install. The OEM drive was made by the same company. Not sure what happened to it, but a computer tech condemned my old drive and convinced me that I could handle replacement. He was right! I still have the old drive and I plan on reformmating to attempt a resurrection. The new drive is performing well with no issues so far.

This is a review of my overall experience of Western Digital drives.
In the late 1990s I bought my first large at the time hard drive a Western Digital 6.4gb drive for roughly $200.
It was amazing, I was able to backup all my floppy disks onto one drive and access all my files without switching disks around. (this was back in the day where we mostly still kept all our stuff on floppy disks)
BTW, i still have that 6.4gb drive in an external enclosure tucked away in a file cabinet and last time i checked it still works over 20 years later.
Over the years i have bought many drives from all the major manufactures and had a few fail but for the most part i have been happy with every Western Digital drive i've owned.
My latest purchase of this 2tb drive from Best Buy was a no brainer, it was on sale and i had best buy rewards. i've never walked out a store with a new drive for less so i was very happy with my purchase.

I have an older machine, It was a top end Vista Machine and still works great. 3000+ Athelon 64 X2, and I needed more room to upgrade to Windows 10 pro. I migrated to the new drive with a drive manager program made by Paragon very effortlessly, and upgraded to Windows 10 effortlessly, and now have tons of extra room, and a three year warrantee on the drive.

I've only had it a month, but it seems speedy, it has 2 TB, and it stores my games just fine. Can't ask for much more, will update if it has any issues! Just one FYI--make sure you have an extra SATA cable on hand, I had a brain hiccup & figured one would come in the box. (Spoiler--it doesn't)

New 2TB hard drive is much quieter than original and very pleased with low price and free install with our Geek Squad coverage. Going to try to keep my electronics purchases with Best Buy because of this.

This drive is still operating really well over 2 years later. I upgraded a security system with this storage drive.
It has been the perfect drive and decision for the reason it was bought for. The drive still reads and writes, and should have a few more years left in it.
It enabled me to have up to 5 days worth of surveillance videos available before purging old recordings.
This is on 5 cameras, at 1080p, configured to start recording 24/7 upon motion activity.
