Ive used this external drive for a year now and its worked great!

The 18 Tb Storage unit I purchased is working very well. It has plenty of room for all my data storage needs and is very fast.

its got good speed on it, something needed with drives this big. I also like that it doesn't get very warm with a lot of use. I love that they are putting these out in sizes that will hold a lot of data

This extra large storage capacity is better than a lot of smaller storage units. I have two of these, a 14 TB and this 18TB units to keep all of my important files readily available.

Gets the job done. As fast as a mechanical HDD is expected to perform via USB 3.0 and very reliable. Used to store loads of contents (Steam games and such) and never any issues/errors.

Solid drive that does what it's supposed to. I bought it when the price was incorrectly set at $120 and have used it a lot and haven't had any issues.

The 1st WD Drive that I ordered was lost in transit and Best Buy graciously sent a second one, which I received. The Drive is smooth and efficient. It is a very good drive that is easy to use!

It is a lot of storage for a good price especially when on sale. I use it for Time Machine backups and media storage. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is the USB 3.0 interface. There are newer and faster interfaces that make copying to and from the drive faster.

Ive been using this as my plex server and its been amazing. Docked a star cause of the random noise it’ll make.

Nice to have an easy, large external hard drive for backups. 18TB should be large enough for serious photographers.
