Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have long used internal hard drives placed in four-bay docks but I had an emergency rush situation and the only 18 TB drives I could find locally were Easystore. I wound up with four linked to my iMac 24 M3. Not a day goes by that one or more and sometimes all of the Easy drives disconnect. The only way to bring them back up is to disconnect the power, shut my Mac down, reconnect the power, and then start my Mac up again. This is not only a major annoyance and time waster but keeps me in continual worry about data loss.

I would prefer the plug and play option rather than needing an outlet to plug in but because it is a lot of TB (over 5TB) it is currently required.

WD offers no support other than refurbished replacement. All data lost unless you pay $400-$1000 + for data recovery. Very noisy.
