Been getting and shucking EasyStores for a while now, love them for my Synology NAS. Especially when they are on sale and much cheaper than buying drives directly.

Lots of space for backing up files. Surprisingly quiet for this drive. Only problem I have is after transfering files for about 3 hours temps reached 55 degrees. I recommend using external fans to keep it cool.

Great HDD. Small and sleek and very easy to use. Only downside is that the HDD is a little loud.

Great product. These are essentially the enterprise drives for half the price. "shucked" the drive out of the enclosure without any issue. Has been running great as an internal drive. As with any other hard drive, make sure not to physically move the drive while it is powered on.

Easystore drives are a "MUST HAVE" for me. I would tell you that I have 20 of them laying around the house (not joking) but you'd think I was crazy, right? Right?! In all seriousness though – these things are fast enough, hold tons of data, are easy to throw into the back of a trunk if an emergency comes up and you have to evacuate a home. I highly recommend.

I think the Hard Drive ends up being 16 TB, but it is what it is. I ordered this online, and Best Buy sent me a handheld gaming console worth about three times the amount of the hard drive, but I'm an honest person, and I tried to return it on the phone, and they wanted me to ship it, and I don't have time for all that. I asked if I could just take it to the store, and they said I couldn't exchange it at a store cause I bought it online. I decided to go to the store anyway, and they gave me the money back but said they didn't have any replacement items, so I went to the hard drive section to find a different hard drive and ended up finding the ones that they said they didn't have. I bought them, and the next day, two more hard drives appeared at my door, so I had to take those hard drives in. I could have really taken Best Buy for a ton of money. Not sure what is going on there, but they are lucky I'm an honest person

Great Hard Drive, mainly use it for Storage for Videoes/Pics when running out of space on Phone memory. Good back up. Possible also good use for storing video games from the PC. Only reason for 4 Stars due to high Pricing even with a discount. Good for memory storage or back up and for game files as well.

Large storage, and it has been reliable. I did a 48 hour test and it was nice and clear. I only wish I could lay it flat.

Shucked this relatively less expensive 18TB drive to use in my NAS. Have not been disappointed. Only thing of note is that the heads are considerably louder than any of the others I have (12TB and 14TB versions of the same drive). Works perfectly though and not an issue for its use.

Excellent external drive addition to my M1 MacBook Air. Quiet operations, outstanding storage capacity, and a good value.

This is my 3rd Easystore USB HDD, very dependable, no failures to date. I store MKV videos & music on them. Word of advice, they tend to run warm-to-hot if used laying flat. The drive has vents on either end so the heat can exit. That means the drive will be standing up-right as heat rises. Recommend...

This has so far proven to be a good storage device. I am using it with a MacBook Pro and have had no issues other than having to format it to work on both Windows and the MACOS. I use it for video and photography and the files tend to get quite large.

works great. cords are long enough. a lot of storage.

Cheap external storage at a great price. Cant go wrong with Western Digital.

The speed on these hard drives is always hit or miss. Sometimes they are incredibly fast, some times they are incredibly slow. the last one we got was the former! This one is the ladder. But it's 18 friggen terabytes and I'm good for a while so I'll take it.

So far so good. Really needed to put misc. content from half dozen smaller external drives and memory stick, old desktops and laptops in one place. NOW I can quickly search and find what I need. Really helps!

Very good backup device and reasonably priced for the size of the storage. Only thing that would make it better would be a power on/off switch - so I didn't have to unplug it every time I was done using it for a while.
