We take thousands of still photos and videos and I run a consulting business which means I have thousands of documents of all kinds. When we maxed out a 1 TB drive I was amazed. I do not see us maxing out this drive anytime soon. For the price and capacity this is a great drive.

Can't Go Wrong with a Western Digital.

Got it, transferred all information in a relatively quick and easy process. I've honestly never had a Western Digital drive fail on me. Can't remember why I bought the other brand. One more external hard drive and I'll be a completely WD system.

Great hard drive

Has password protection and backup, along with all the other options that WD normally has. So far I have nearly filled up the drive and the speed has been very fast. Assuming you're just going to leave this one your desk, it is a good hard drive to go with and a price that is hard to beat.
