So far so good after small issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup in Raid 1 to backup my movie/audio files. Have plugged into a Mycloud Mirror so i can access anywhere which works great. However, after copying over about 6tb of data, i had one of the drives LED change to red. And this was a few days after the initial transfer and accessing the files through Plex with no issues. I did a rebuild which took about 14 hours, and all has been well for about 3 weeks now so hopefully it stays that way!

Great drive for my back ups and all my movies

I like this WD for the price. I'm using it as an archive of video footage. It did take a long time to transfer over the footage, but that could be any number of reasons, some of which aren't the drive.

That's why 4 stars. *for best buy developers: I can't upload images from my phone using your best buy app on Galaxy S8+, Nougat

Cheap Unit Great for the Drives
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About 15% cheaper per drive than buying the 8TB individually, like some of the other reviews I pulled the drives to put in a drobo. They are WD Red 5400 rpm drives model: WD80EFZX in the enclosures that I received.
