So far so good after small issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup in Raid 1 to backup my movie/audio files. Have plugged into a Mycloud Mirror so i can access anywhere which works great. However, after copying over about 6tb of data, i had one of the drives LED change to red. And this was a few days after the initial transfer and accessing the files through Plex with no issues. I did a rebuild which took about 14 hours, and all has been well for about 3 weeks now so hopefully it stays that way!

So far so great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work in the video industry and I can remember not to far back when memory was extremely expensive. I like this WD for the price. I'm using it as an archive of video footage. It did take a long time to transfer over the footage, but that could be any number of reasons, some of which aren't the drive.

Q: QuestionIf I have a whole bunch of videos, can I hook this drive to a Blu-ray player and have the Blu-ray player read it like it does USB flashdrives? I've heard that some HD work this way and some won't. I have a Sony Blu-ray player, if that makes a difference
Asked by Pariah.
- A:Answer Yes, it will work as an external drive. However, i will check with the manufacture for any limitation of supporting usb 3.0 - yes, they are backward compatible with usb 2.0, but i will still check if they support it. Hope this helps.
