Works great and great recommendation from the staff

Just a minor problem, as the Best Buy rep sold me the external HD formatted for pc. I called them back, and the geek squad reformatted it for Mac. All is well.

All my hard drives are WD. Drives that I've had for years and never had a problem with. Plug it in and it's ready to use!

Convenient way to back up files.I had one a few years ago which crashed and I lost years of files and 1,000s of pictures. Now also using the cloud.

One TB allows us to add much more memory to our computer at a low price.

I am always happy to be at Best Buy because the staff are always highly professional, very cheerful and helpful people.

I do not use it with my PCs currently but the application I used it for picked it up and all I had to do was format it.

I like to be cheap on a lot of things, but storage is not one. Always go with a name brand. I have had great luck with WD.

this passport helps me transfer space over to any device needed it comes in handy for me a lot during work school and home.

Had difficulty installing software because I already had WD Smartware installed, which DOES NOT WORK on this device. It's not well documented. After you get it figured out it this is a good device.

So far so good. It records my data. Haven't found any bits laying on the floor yet

Worked great when my dad couldn’t get downstairs to his desktop. Put all his files on this & plugged it in to a laptop!

Literally you need to keep two at all times lol must have for sure

I had geek files from old laptop to this to keep new laptop running quick. I was told they would all look the same, but NO. A bit cumbersome to save to this device, but not terrible.
