    Works well, the password protection feature works through an app on the PC and is more cumbersome than I assumed it would be.

    Maybe it's because my computer doesn't run Windows, but I've had a horrible time with error messages and the convoluted maze of required programs during the setup process. Everything was going well for a couple days. Eventually, though, it became a paperweight. On the bright side, it seems more reliable at that than backing up the contents of my MacBook Pro. (yes, I formatted it and did everything I believe was necessary to ensure its functionality from setup on)

    It works as advertised, used it to backup some things from old computer. I have three drives about like this, all works fine.

    It is not possible to say how long this drive will last at this point, but so far so good. I like the color and the speed it fine. I do wish they had some sort of option for mounting it.

    This product is very well made. I have had other drives that were heavy and the computer didn't recognize the drive as quickly as this one did. My only complaint is the noise it makes.
