It may have been my ineptitude with computers, or the fact that my laptop was so full it wouldn’t operate properly.

It was too darn big and noisy for my MacBook so I downsized while still having a large capacity. A much nicer, quieter, and faster external disk. So far I am liking the change.

It works flawlessly and is extremely fast as well. We are very happy with this product.
