I need an extra backup which I keep plugged in most of the time. My old laptop just wouldn't turn on one day and so it was good to have an extra back up.

Speaking with the service team helped me get exactly what I was looking for. The only reason not to give 5 stars is the fact that I had to separately claim for the offered cash back deal, rather than it being automatic, and this info wasn’t stated anywhere

I needed additional space to store my photos and videos. This drive does the trick! Easy to install and it's doing the job just fine. I'd recommend it. The reason for a 4-Star review is that I thought that it's price point could have been a bit less... but then, perhaps that just me! :)

This product has been a lifesaver! I’m using it for files that I had to have extracted from a corrupted external hard drive by the Best Buy Geek Squad. It’s holding all of those files, and I still have room for thousands more! Great product, and absolutely no problems with it to this day!

I have been waiting to purchase this external hard drive for my new HP Computer. This was a great purchase for the amount of work I do on my old and new computers.

My son needed an external hard drive for his laptop so I purchased this one because of the solid reputation of the WD brand. He has been using this without any issues. Easy setup and fast load times. I would go back to this brand if I needed another one.

Use for specialty data for single project in my 100T server. Limits access to other units. Found this brand highly reliable. I can switch off units to improve MTBF. Never had a failure with this brand. Allows mobility as well.

Excellent so far. I have purchased 3 different storage devices and they have all gone corrupt or shows me that my content is all downloaded, then there's nothing there when i go to open them. It's a real pain! Hopefully everything ive put on here stays on here & stays uncorrupted.
