Had to grab this at the store since my 18 year old HP tower decided to die and I needed an external drive to provide to the Geek Squad so they could recover my personal data. They conveniently had some on the shelf right by the Geek Squad desk.

This is nice to have just in case you loose your information on your computer. The only problem I had is the cord did not work without an adapter for my Mac.

Love this device that you simply plug in and you are ready to go. Also, while I did not perform an analytical study, the speed of the device seems much faster than my old device. I had gigabytes of photos that copied to the device very quickly.

Worked well. Full disclosure- I am not using it to regularly back up my hard-drive, only as a backup for a lot of GoPro video I took which was slowing down my hard-drive! So far so good!

Love the physical size and the storage size! Very portable, easily switch it between devices if need be.

Had all files backed up for my new computer, great way to start.

I got this item preloaded with a ton of photos from my husband. I have heard so many sad stories of lost photos from others and I love this way of keeping such precious memories in safe keeping. I would definitely suggest this item to others!!!

We transfer customer home movies to digital files and when we need a bigger capacity than a flash drive we almost always choose this drive. This Hard Drive is always reliable. It's USB 3 so it's a fast transfer rate. 1TB for around $50. You can't go wrong.

I brought my Mac desktop into the geek squad for a “clean up” and this product was recommended to me by them to make sure I had a copy of everything on my computer. It certainly did what it is supposed to do so I am happy with it.

Purchased for a client for set it and forget it system backups for his home and office computers. Works as intended. Fairly speedy for a usb hard drive when connected to a usb 3.0 port.

This was an excellent purchase! i bought it to back up my computer and i can tell this will be extremely useful in college!

Small and portable while having enough memory for many uses.

Took a bit to get it to work without disconnecting in the middle of the transfer but I am very satisfied with the performance. Only wish I had went with the 2tb instead.
