I bought this because i had an old WD portable harddrive for the last 7 years and had no issues, but thought it was time to upgrade. This thing is fast and high capacity. Highly recommend.

This is the second My Passport drive that I have purchased and use. The first one has been in use for a very long time, and is till functioning with no errors and no problems. I am extremely happy with this drive.

For about 4 years I've used two WD My Passport external drives (full size vs these laptop size). I've been satisfied with their quality, thus far.

I needed a quick solution to a big problem and this product bailed me out. Was able to handle two extremely large point cloud files. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing extra storage space.

I don't like to store personal information in the cloud. This solves that problem. Easy to install. Easy to use. NOT automatic, though.

Excatly what was needed. It holds storage for my dvr and holds as many shows as i need.

We're using this as a back-up device for data and it's larger than we require for the purpose. Definitely puts my mind at ease knowing our precious information is saved on a second device and can be restored anytime.

Standard external hard drive that is being used as extended storage for a PS4 console. Immediately recognized and connected to the console when plugged into its USB. No issues at all.

Lots of space to use for backup. I had my old system's data restored to it. But I wish the techs had given me some instruction on the file system. I had to hunt for my data.

This Passport it awesome. The smallest 1TB hard drive I have ever seen. Not much larger than a thumb drive. Keeps my computer backed-up with no effort.

This is a great price and value. I use it for Time Machine for my new MacBook Air and it works great. This is a good size if you want to travel with it and limit the weight you have to carry.
