Great portable hard drive! It reads/writes at a good speed, and very well built. It is durable and a cool looking designed. 1TB should be enough for most people unless you're in the video making industry. I am completely satisfied.

I have owned this drive for about 5 months. I use this device to perform weekly selective backups of my desktop. So far it has worked great. The drive is fast and has been reliable. I ended up ditching the included Acronis True Image backup software for something more configurable. Ended up going with Imperius Backup. Being only 1TB makes it a little tight regarding space. Since I am doing mirror selective (everything except apps) backups of a 1TB drive it has served its purpose well. If you want to keep multiple full images or incremental backups, you might want to go with something with a higher capacity. I would recommend this drive to others.

Great item that was very easy to set up and use for my 80 year old Dad. We needed to store some of his files and this csme in very handy. I would definitely say this is a quality product and I will continue to purchase WD Products.

Bought this to use for my PS4 storage. Works great. Just a word of advice, make sure to properly disconnect it before shutting off your console. I messed up another product in the past not doing this. It's so simple too. Just go to the settings or hold the home button for the quick options and hit Stop Using Extended Storage. As long as you do that you'll never have to worry about it or repair it.
