Bought this because of the hardware encryption and price. Nice drive, but feels a bit cheap.

I highly recommend this model for external storage for anyone who needs their data encrypted. I bought this for a client who has financial information and using the encryption utility was effortless. The USB 3.0 interface was so fast. Backups occurred quickly.

Works fine. No problems with its operation. Gives me what I nbeed.

It was great to have this option when my laptop died. Best Buy transferred all my files, and I didn't lose a thing! Now they are assessable anytime I need them, or I can download them to my current system.

It was easy to install except the scheduled backup. Apparently it is unable to backup when my computer is not in active status. I tried to get support for my Window 10 system without much success. So I start backing it up manually. It works, but not ideal. I used to be able to do scheduled backup with my iMac.

I bought this for my daugher who is in school. It holds all her files as a back up.

I have an HP EliteBook that does not have a lot of space; but i love this laptop it's small backlight keys and so external drive helps.

It's good for pc backups. I have the 1TB and I do an image as well as file backups.

Had to purchase this to transfer all my files from old laptop as new laptop only had half the capacity of old one unbeknownst to me. it's a little annoying having to keep it plugged in, but I can unplug it if I'm not working on files in the drive.

I bought this harddrive out of a need for more space. this harddrive is fast, complete and has handled my data in a great way. I would recommend to anyone who needs to store on the move. it is smaller than previous versions so it takes up less space as well.

I had this device on my old computer. I decided since I was happy with how it worked on the old computer, I'd get one for the new computer. It has worked well so far.

It is a good product I have had Passports in the past. No problems.

Using it as a backup drive (Time Machine) for my M1 Powerbook. No troubles at all. My only wish is that it connected with USB-C. I did reformat it before I used it and that was a breeze.
