As an owner of a 500GB PS4, I began to notice I was running out of room quickly. I didn't have the funds for a bigger HDD, but I read good reviews about this one, and it was within my budget. So far, it runs like a dream. Not only do I have more space for games and downloads, but it runs smoothly. There's no lag noticeable from games running straight off the external HDD.
