I purchased this product for my wife she dropped it over 10 times and it still works

This item has been very helpful in helping me keep my computer clean and clutter free.

Perfect for saving pictures , videos, documents from phone or tablet . Make my phone has more space

Seeing as I'm not a techie I don't know if it is downloading my info. and I don't understand the jargon tech support answered my question. I do like that it is compact and easy to store in a drawer until I'm ready to use it. I have it programmed for once a week. So if it is downloading I'd give it a 5 but because I don't know if it's working I'll stay neutral with a 3.

Functional and easy to use. Mostly just hook it up and it will do all the rest to give you the storage space you need.

This is a good external drive and at this cost best value. There are higher storages but expensive Easy to use too

Works great on all new operating systems, but I had a friend that uses an old XP system. It would not recognize the drive where it was a 1TB drive. No drivers or software from WD web site could make it work. Finally found a old 250gb drive and was able to back up his data and move it to a new system.

I only purchase Western Digital hard drives now since having too many failures with Seagate drives in the past. Only thing that has kept me from giving this 5 stars is that it uses the usb/power split connector which are difficult to find in a pinch. My old drives used standard micro USB cables. The hard drive enclosure is also all plastic, but for the price is fine. More expensive drives I bought from WD in the past had more robust metal enclosures and felt better in the hand.

I like the portability of the small size. So far seems to be fast and reliable. Does the job intended.

I purchased the W D backup saver so that I could have backup space on my tablet. It works very well. I haven't had any problems with it. It was well worth the price, and the description that the sales rep. gave. Best Buy is the place to shop for any and all of your electronic issues!!

good hard drive, i got it for storing movies and as a backup drive fro my laptop

I'd recommend this to anyone, I do all of my school work on my laptop and the extra storage space is definitely nice.

Being new to macs ... wanted to use time machine to set a back up point Best Buy steered me towards this HDD because it was ready for Mac Did it's job, but I would probably buy the comparable other hdd because I had to format mine to get it to work---probably my mistake and setting it up initially

I could tell by the recommendation by the Geek Squad person that I really didn't need to buy an external hard drive, but I knew my husband would say "get it anyway," so I got it. I'm glad we did, because of course my husband wanted it - it's been handy but, as always, the Geek Squad guy was right
