    Got a great deal on this "smaller" external drive. Never hurts to have more than one backup. Backup worked great, no issues. Nice that it's solid state so it doesn't have to sit on a flat surface during use.

    I bought this for my mom so she could backup her computer so she would not lose her files should get get more viruses. Now she can automatically back up and file her photos and documents on the Passport as well as her computer. I have 2 of my own and knew this would work well for her.

    All software was preloaded on the drive, so no CDs or internet required to set up. Also, powers itself via same USB cable used for data, so only one wire needed for setup, and only takes up one USB port. Backup of my system was very fast, I'm very happy with the drive.

    I had to purchase one of these to move 100gb of files of of a server and place them on a virtual server. I love the fact that the data transferred over successfully and fast and that it is plug and play on windows operating system without restarting. IT Tech recommended buy this hard drive
