I bought this as a back up drive to my desktop PC. It's worked great! The setup was instant and painless. The look of it is not for everyone but it looks great on sitting on my desk.

This unit was fast to install and the software that comes with will help to diagnose issues if you have any. It is also very fast ion accessing data from this hard drive unit.

Works as it should . Need this when my computer crashed. Transferred everything from my hard drive to this external drive then moved to new computer.

Item is slow on ps4 saving games. Otherwise does what was intnded.

We have been highly satisfied with other LG products so when we needed to replace out TV decided to look at the LG. It was very easy to set up and has a great picture.

I have an older external USB HD that still works but I was tired of large files taking forever. Glad USB 3.0 makes file transfer super fast. Using it on a Macbook Pro so I could have spent the money on Thurderbolt but didn't want to and it isn't needed after using this product for much cheaper.

I like the product it works to back up all my computer essentials

been using it as an external storage for my PS4, works great, havent noticed any extra loading times on games. Definitely a great add on.

It does the backup job I needed for my laptop backup. I haven't figured out if the included WD backup software offers advantages over simply using Windows 10. Also I haven't figured out where local backup will fit into the picture once I figure out cloud backup (house burns down scenario...).

Has proven to be a great external backup device for the numerous pictures I take. Have had no issues whatever using this hard drive.

I have saved everything in this product in case my computer should go down. It has enough space for all my photos and mr family tree besides my regular items.

Purchased for my MacBook Pro backup... but USB 2 a little slow so work great for photos. I went with the Firewire 800 for the backup drive as my laptop does not support USB 3.

computer having a problem, took it into store twice. Got HD & computer freezing solved itself. Got an external dvd/cd player as well. Both are excellent.

Got the unit for price, so can't tell you much about other features. Using as external HD on the Shield, works fine - fast when plugged directly to comp.

Needed to back up my computer. Just what we needed. They used to be so big with less amount of space. Nice to see things have improved over the years

This is an excellent external hard drive. I am surprised at how fast it backed up al my files. Plug and play, easy to start using from out of the box.

Great hard drive but it requires it to piggy back off the power supply of whatever you plug it into. Other than that it's great.

All is working well with My Passport. However, in the beginning it took a several minute phone call with Western Digital support to get it working. I assumed "plug and play" but that didn't happen. Working fine and so glad that I have everything backed up on a daily basis.

Needed something for a Geek Squad Backup and this was the cheapest thing I could find. That was 2 years ago and I still use it to this day.
