The Geek Squad installer told me about the WD External Hard Drive and quickly installed it so I have additional back up for my files.

External hard drive worked well for loading and sharing files with someone else. No problems or complaints from either of us.

I have had this drive for about a year. I have several computers a now instead of keeping copies of all my music, movies, and pictures I have them in one place. Can’t tell the difference between internal and external speeds

It's not an external SSD but I still go with regular "spinner" hard drives for data backup. I go with WD over any other brand.

Connection platform is easy. Used for my Mack and a second used for my Xbox 1 to avoid buying another xbox with more memory!...

I purchased this to move my photos off the cloud. So far so good. It does seem to slow down load up of the computer, but nothing major. I am just always in a hurry. Purchased the bright blue due to the less expensive yellow being gone.

This backup storage works with your PC to back up your computer. It will create a file history backup. Just follow the directions.

WD 1 TB hard drives perform so gtreat I had to buy a second one. Able to add more apps on android box with no loss of speed.

This item works great. Just keep in mind that with this one the smartware is not free. Must be purchased separately. But very much worth it.

I like Western Digital drives (have had a number of failures with other brands.) This one has good speed and was well priced at Best Buy.
