It's a USB drive. No issues, so I guess it's fine.

The product met my expectations. I am happy with it.

When first purchased it worked fantastic. But after a while it would not do auto uploads on date and time. I then had it set up to do all days still to no avail. I have to do manually. Which defeats the purpose.

I got the usb to upgrade from a two to a three hard drive to play my games on it worked for around four days and I heard a noise humming ,then it stopped working.

I purchased the WD Passport since it was advertised compatible with Windows 10. Well it either was not compatible with Windows 10 or the backup software did not work. I tried several times to get it working to no avail. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest online program and it still did not backup with scheduled backup and it only worked twice with the backup now command after numerous attempts. My two attempts to get help from WD Support were totally disregarded as I have not received any answer after two weeks. I believe I have gotten it to work using the built in Windows Backup but I am not holding my breath that this will work in the future.

Setting it up is easy, but it does not save any of your files in usable formats. Find another one that works right.

Well, the info boxes that popped up said that the application requires an OSX10.8 or later. Mine is an OSX10.6.8. So I'll need to find out which one to exchange it for. Any advice would be good.

There were no explicit instructions of how to work the devise. I have had the passport for a few months and I am still not sure of how to properly use the devise effectively.

I needed to store some reports on device that was not connected to the network so I could have more space. This was the perfect solution.

This is an item I really didn't need, purchased because sales clerk encouraged it for some reason, but I don't use the computer enough to use this

This drive was pretty good when I got it. Data transfer was fast and the included USB cable seems to be high quality. However, the drive failed after two months of home use.

I've set up this drive to backup my computer, but despite reading the manual and looking things up online, I can't locate the hard drive backup. Caling tech support was of little value.

Does the job but has some issues storing all the data at times. Get error codes but tech support says they cannot find the prob with it.

Product lacks instructions and is not user friendly. Had a difficult time getting it to copy files and could not get it to download copied files onto new laptop.

very unhappy with this device: barley out of warranty, it messaged computer that data was corrupted, inaccessible. Geek Squad verified. Had to send off to special GS lab to recover if possible. Ended up with a $400 bill, an additional purchase of a large flashdrive to move the recovered data to, and loss of use of the data for about 45 days from time of crash to return of data. Plus I'm out the price of the lousy drive as well.

Worked fine for few months. After 3 months, I had some issues. When connected to the laptop, the led on HDD is flashing but it is not reading by my laptop.

When I attempted to backup my pictures from my old computer to my new computer I had all different kinds of pictures that are now on my new computer.

Took a very long time to download software. No instructions included with the item. VERY SLOW backing up. It finally did the job, so 2 stars for that.

The plastic materials I don't think hold up well to repeated connecting of the USB cable. I would look for the Ultra Edition or the Easystore instead.

I returned this after tampering for over 2 hours. Bought a different brand one and was able to use it with my MacBook within minutes
