I bought this Data Storage devise with such hope and inspiration of have my files where ever I go, but by April 2017. After only 4 Months it was deceased to all my computers and those at the Best Buy Geek counter. Even WORSE Best Buy only refer me, the customer, to contact the manufactures.....DISGUSTING

I purchased this HDD after consulting you associate. I was attempting to connect this HDD to my cable company's Alpha hub. This Hdd couldn't be recognized as it had to be a sata HDD. I contacted Western Digital's customer support which was absolutely useless, so I had to return the HDD

I couldn't get it to work with windows 10. Spent over 8 hours on the phone with Microsoft and Western Digital. Both companies blamed the other. New laptop and new external hard drive that can't work together...very disappointed. Returned for refund.

Thought this was great to save space on my game consul to put apps and games on external hard drive. but only caused problems for my playstation! so I disconnected it and through it away Couldn't return it Because I was past the 14 day return policy

They said it’s easy to install and I’m no pro when it comes to computers, but every time I hooked it up to my computer it would not allow me to set up. No instructions came with in or anything.

We are on our second one. If it wasn't for the protection plan (free replacement) , I wouldn't have the second. First device just stopped working. Couldn't recover any of the files/ data from it.

I bought this drive to back up and then access folders and files on a newer computer, but the drive was unable to install on my old computer. i will be returning this item to the store.
